James Carville On DEMS Strategy To Hold The House: "The Father, The Son & The Holy Ghost" (WATCH)
ABC News video embedding is among the worst around -- small box, no customization, so you might as well watch it at ABC where it's full size. Carville drops the quote near the end, after the 5-minute mark. The subtext of the sit-down is a new ABC poll showing a majority of voters think the GOP should run Congress, which obviously makes Stephanopolous extremely uncomfortable.
I can't stand arrogant party hacks from either side. This clip has three. Here's a hint to both parties:
Stop the wars.
Stop the bailouts.
Stop the stimulus.
Cut the deficit.
Win the election.

Most probably did not even know it, but the findings show the sometimes deadly infection is making its way north into the United States, the researchers said.
"We're concerned that if dengue gains a foothold in Key West, it will travel to other southern cities where the mosquito that transmits dengue is present, like Miami," said Harold Margolis, chief of the dengue branch at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
"These cases represent the reemergence of dengue fever in Florida and elsewhere in the United States after 75 years," Margolis said in a statement.

everybody I know to know who those sell-outs are then they can tell everybody they know. Might help make sure they don't get re-elected.
The potential for a breakdown of loyalty to the federal government and for states turning against each other on a regional basis is certainly real. The country could easily split in two on red-blue lines, or break up as some have suggested with the West Coast, the South, Texas, the Midwest, and the East Coast all becoming autonomous regions. The question is whether the current crisis is bad enough or will become bad enough to precipitate such a breakup, and whether the federal government would actually engage in the kinds of actions which would precipitate the breakup of the union.

Make sure you watch the short videos.
Part 1:
New types of money are popping up across Mid-Michigan and supporters say, it's not counterfeit, but rather a competing currency.
Right now, you can buy a meal or visit a chiropractor without using actual U.S. legal tender.
They sound like real money and look like real money. But you can't take them to the bank because they're not made at a government mint. They're made at private mints.

Part 2:
In part one of NBC25's special series "Competing Currencies," NBC25's Dan Armstrong showed how the government says any private business can accept or refuse any kind of payment.
In part two, Dan goes deeper, discovering why certain businesses say it's better to have private currency than actual U.S. legal tender.
There was a time in America when you could buy four gallons of gas for a dollar.
That dollar came in the form of a coin, around one ounce, made mostly of silver.
In today's market, that same coin is worth about 10 times its face value because of the silver.
Therefore, that same coin in theory, could still buy around four gallons of gas.
