Meet The Press Remembers The Late Walter Cronkite
The Truth Has Been Interrupted!: Youtube Decimates 'C-Span Junkie' As It Pulls 6,400 Videos Including Hundreds Of Ron Paul Clips
Can you imagine recording, editing, labeling and then uploading 6,400 clips to Youtube, only to have them ripped from the public consciousness on bizarre copyright claims. Such is the fate of former user 'C-Span Junkie', who informed his followers last week that Youtube had done the unthinkable and annihilated his entire collection. I found out quickly as readers began emailing me to complain that certain videos were no longer available here.
The copyright issues notwithstanding, since when does C-Span have a claim on Congressional footage? And if they indeed do, then that claim should be challenged and tossed from the books. I'm apoplectic and I wasn't even directly impacted. But this gentleman and patriot most certainly was. Go to his brand new youtube channel where he is attempting to rebuild his library, and give him a donation if you can spare it.
I don't know him from Adam, but we all have a stake in this outcome. From what I've read, he has labored with this endeavour, the same as ours--to create awareness among the American people--for over a year, dutifully creating, editing and uploading truth-bomb content for the masses to imbibe. For example, hundreds of Ron Paul House clips have now been lost to server heaven. F you Youtube. You made the wrong choice this time. You will not stop the truth.
Visit his new channel, MoxNews, and offer him some encouragement. Thanks.
Peter Schiff Gets Ambushed By Lawrence O'Donnell On Health Care
Health care reform is not explicitly within our purview, but this clip was interesting if only for the ambush. A reader pointed out on youtube that O'Donnell was off TV for a year for calling a guest a liar. Not sure if that's true, but his attitude with Schiff in this clip is definitely not pleasant.
Peter Schiff Annihilates The Federal Reserve While Discussing A Possible Senate Run Against Chris Dodd
Peter Schiff yesterday on MSNBC's Morning Joe. There is a ton of material in here besides the Senate discussion. Schiff articulates clearly that the financial crisis has passed but the economic one is still squarely upon us. His targets are moral hazard, Greenspan, Bernanke and the Fed. Scarborough mentions the SEC decision in 2004 that allowed leverage to balloon for the lucky 5, and also takes a shot at Paulson. Excellent discussion.
