Taconic Capital Advisors is a multi-strategy hedge fund with about $9 billion in total assets under management co-managed by Frank Brosens and Kenneth Brody. Brosens is a former Goldman Sachs partner where he served as head of risk arbitrage.  He has presented at the World Economic Forum and the Council on Foreign Relations and is a graduate of Princeton University.

Treasury's Top Candidate to Run TARP Drops Out - WSJ

WASHINGTON -- The leading candidate to run the Treasury Department's $700 billion bailout program has withdrawn his name from consideration, according to people familiar with the matter.  Frank Brosens, a hedge-fund manager and big Democratic donor, was considered the top contender to run the Treasury's TARP.

He needs to go to be thoroughly investigated and indicted for Ttax Evasion fo his BLATANTLY OBVIOUS ROLE in the DESTRUCTION of Bear Sterns & Lehman Bros. For those 2 firms to fold so quickly without GEITHNER'S ITNERVENTION is clear evidence - even to the MOST IGNORANT - he got PAID and had to hold off on revealing his taxes when obama appointed him. Let's not forget his 'Temple Bretheren' - Paulson, Rubin, Prince, Summers, Friedman, Bernanke & Greenspan.
