Did The FBI Know In Advance About Boston Attack?

A must watch.  History suggests the FBI knew something.

Reality Check with Ben Swann

What did the FBI know and when did they know it?

Tonight we are learning more about the Boston Marathon bombing and yet there are still so many questions that have not been answered.  The biggest question of course, who is behind it?  Could it be that the FBI knows more about this attack than they are letting on?  Could they have known about the attack ahead of time?

This is a must read.

Here's the NYT article on the 1993 WTC bomb plot discussed in the clip...

There's a gag order in place while the "investigation" continues. Despite the order, the police have been selectively releasing "evidence" that would have been impossible not to have noticed within minutes during even a cursory search of the Lanza home:

Really? A plywood-sized spreadsheet that Adam Lanza created of prior mass killings? Pray tell where he printed that out? Did police not notice the offset newspaper printing press in his room? It's hard not to imagine an SNL skit of the local police discovering the monster-sized spreadsheet...

"Chief, I think we might have a clue here."

Please. The whole story is so ridiculous.

As for the FOIA, it applies to federal institutions. Many states do have equivalent statutes. And you wouldn't you know it? CT employees who've worked on the Sandy Hook case don't like their CFOIA statute one bit, so they're just gonna ignore it until they can get the legislature to fix that pesky fucker:

http://fellowshipofminds.wordpress.com/2013/02/25/newtown-clerk-refuses-to-issue-sandy-hook-victims-death-certificates/

Between the interminable gag order and recalcitrant clerks who (without prompting of course) up and decide to ignore the law (with impunity), I wouldn't hold your breath.

And yes, you're correct, as far as I know, about the media's failure to pose the money question.

Indiana's FOI laws are pretty cool -- they're short and sweet. That's wild about the CFOIA being revised (and ignored in the meantime).

Cheyenne,

You give the powers that be way to much intelligence when it comes to their investigative prowess. About a month and a half ago a man came up missing that called his mother every day. After several days the mother went to the police who in turn went and searched his house and found nothing except a ladder they hat to move to finish searching the house. After a month of the mother begging for them to search again I think they might have smelled him on the return search...

First clue from first search... The ladder under the attic hatch.

You don't have to be smart to be a cop, merely capable of filling out forms required for insurance companies and sometimes stumble onto solving a crime.

Good thing criminals aren't smart either...

Police Reject Candidate for Being Too Intelligent

A US man has been rejected in his bid to become a police officer for scoring too high on an intelligence test.

Robert Jordan, a 49-year-old college graduate, took an exam to join the New London police, in Connecticut, in 1996 and scored 33 points, the equivalent of an IQ of 125.
