Debate Highlight: 'Trillion Dollar Deficits Are Immoral'

Romney's Ancient Chinese Deficit Test

It's a brilliant line, but it depends who's answering the question.  Following his own logic, in the case of a Romney victory, Mitt would borrow and spend $8 trillion over the next 10 years just for the military.  Obama is not much better with plans to borrow and spend $6 trillion on the U.S. war machine in the same period.

So while Mittens's mouth nailed the immorality of trillion dollar deficits, his butt was busy keeping the red ink warm.

Ten Year Outlook - Obama Would Spend $6 Trillion On Military, Romney $8 Trillion

I wish they would get into why we borrow money to give to other countries in aid. Especially countries that hate us.

I agree Gomp. Only Ron Paul brings up that issue. But it would definitely seem that foregin aid wouldn't pass Romney's Chinese Deficit Test for any ordinary citizen..

That foreign aid is a sore spot for me too it's nothing but theft from Americans

Obama Increased Foreign Aid 80%; Spent 76% More on Foreign Aid Than Border Security

A lot of business people have benefited from China Gompers that's what Capitalists do GE really benefited the difference was it was at our expense. Jeff I SMELT is o's jobs man and he happily sent our jobs there and used our money to do it. Team offshore

GE moving X-ray business to China. What message is sent to U.S.?

Obama Picks Jeffrey Immelt, GE CEO, To Run New Jobs-Focused Panel As GE Sends Jobs Overseas, Pays Little In Taxes

“How can President Obama attack Romney for outsourcing when he did the exact same thing?” wondered O’Reilly, who added that, “The Obama administration has continued to make billions of taxpayer dollars available to the General Electric corporation, mostly through loans but there were some grants for green energy projects. GE employs about 300,000 people. Fewer than half – 131,000 — are working in the USA. Let me repeat, less than half of GE’s workforce are employed in America.”

After Shipping 25,000 Jobs Overseas, GE Chairman Tells Business Owners To Stop Blaming Obama And Hire More Workers…

As the administration struggles to prod businesses to create jobs at home, GE has been busy sending them abroad. Since Immelt took over in 2001, GE has shed 34,000 jobs in the U.S., according to its most recent annual filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. But it’s added 25,000 jobs overseas.

O is for Outsourcing

at this point in the game, it matters not one bit which of these assholes gets to fuck us for the next FOUR YEARS.

the nation is already looted and bankrupted by zio-banksters Rothschilds, via their JP Morgan and FED infiltrators here.

what makes anyone thing even Ron Paul could have stopped this? they'd MURDER HIM!!

y'all just gotta get used to eating your gruel and keeping your yap shut, because the quasi negro is holding onto the N.D.A.A., and we are in fact in de-facto MARTIAL LAW now.

so what will a fake election fix? Nothing.

What difference does it make?

Watch and learn. Even in the debate here, it has been respectful and (with apologies to SKINFLINT) does make a difference. It has been a lot of hard work and even after some VERY trying times where one should just say fuck it, we just get better.

Sometimes a few hours of respite is all it takes at times a little more but that is what character is all about. Thanks for all that everyone does here.

Stay tuned.

The sad thing is that our grandchildren WILL be paying against the debt all their lives and their children after them.

As the interest on the debt accumulates, our great grandchildren will of course be paying interest on interest.

Since the debt is never paid down (much less OFF,) eventually the ratio of principal to interest will be infinitesimally small.

This, in a nutshell, is how any economy subject to interest will eventually fall into bankruptcy.

Interest is not in your best interest. It's time to get over that poison or die. Search for PfMPE.

This driving of the U.S. economy into the sewer is intentional and coordinated from the highest places of authority. The depraved indifference of the American people towards those harmed by American foreign policy is the weakness used to cut American foreign business down to zero. Would you buy from somebody who bombed your or your friends' homes? Of course not. Americans better learn how to think. Hillary's psycho killings are their fault.

Speaking of immoral, why don't we just get rid of the homeless because, you know, they just aren't good for tourism. Besides I am sure there is a banker who may need some internal organs.http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2012/10/05/costa-mesa-mayor-proposes-to-shut-down-soup-kitchens-to-deal-with-homeless-problem/

Soup kitchens are one of the few things in local governments that actually function well.

Thanks for the link Skin.

Here are two stories about Romney, one new and one from earlier this year. In both, Romney stars as a corporate looter who racks up debt and destroys jobs to line his pockets. In the newer story (linked first below), Romney loots the U.S. Treasury as well, siphoning off TARP money through Ann Romney's blind trust:

Let's face it. Mitt's claim of "business experience" is as valid as the Mafia's experience with restaurants. Backed by the TBTF banks, Mitt will destroy the remaining capital base of the U.S. faster than you can say "rehyopethecated synthetic collateralized Statue of Liberty Debt Obligations."

This man is completely immoral. My republican friends are CONVINCED that this man is the lesser of two evils and constantly telling me to vote for him just to get Obama out. I can't stand it.
