It's a brilliant line, but it depends who's answering the question. Following his own logic, in the case of a Romney victory, Mitt would borrow and spend $8 trillion over the next 10 years just for the military. Obama is not much better with plans to borrow and spend $6 trillion on the U.S. war machine in the same period.
So while Mittens's mouth nailed the immorality of trillion dollar deficits, his butt was busy keeping the red ink warm.
