Congratulations War Party, You Still Win

Brilliant Video.  Fiscally conservative, socially liberal, anti-war, anti-deficit is how most people would describe themselves, yet such a person will not find a home within either political party.

(CNN) -- Voters in Iowa chose to remove three high court justices who helped make Iowa the first Midwestern state to permit same-sex marriage.

The vote marks the first time a member of the Iowa Supreme Court has been rejected by the voters under the current system that began in 1962.

George Bush, still thin-skinned as ever, is still stewing of Kanye West:

MATT LAUER: You remember what he said?

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: Yes, I do. He called me a racist.

MATT LAUER: Well, what he said, "George Bush doesn't care about black people."

PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH: That's -- "he's a racist." And I didn't appreciate it then. I don't appreciate it now. It's one thing to say, "I don't appreciate the way he's handled his business." It's another thing to say, "This man's a racist." I resent it, it's not true, and it was one of the most disgusting moments in my Presidency

Great video, very funny. Is the guy supposed to sound stoned?

It left me confused. So, when you voted for Obama in 2008, you were actually voting for Bush? Maybe your main problem with the Tea Party is ideology. The Ron Paul atheist Tea Party doesn’t want anything to do with the current Tea Party that has religion as one of its core principles. Religion is a part of the many freedoms they are fighting for so it seems. I am not sure what the Ron Paulians want. Do you anticipate the two party system will come to an abrupt end and all those in it will get beamed up to the mother ship never to be seen again?

The problem isn’t the Democrats or the Republicans or even the Independents, the problem is the government itself. That is what the key belief of the Tea Party, government (the whole lot of them) is out of control, is overgrown and is trampling on our liberties. I have pointed this out in the past numerous times but to no avail. I have even posted a few videos of Reagan saying the same thing. Obama’s hopey changey policies are just moving the country faster on a path to removing our liberties. That is why the voters hit the brakes.

The snarky message in the video and in the Jon Stewart and Ratagain videos is what limits the appeal of this site and the Ron Paul portion of the Tea Party. It is the reason why Ron Paul is not invited to any of the debates. It is the reason why the devotees monopolize the comments in here and the reason my writing gets censored and ridiculed.

Progress was made on Tuesday and not the objective should be to hold the new government employees (Dems or Repubs) to their campaign promises to repeal Obamacare, end the banker bailouts, end Obama’s failed policies and get this country back on its feet with sound economic actions. To give up on the new government employees will not change the game and will only make you more bitter and angry.

34 warships sent from US for Obama visit
http://www.ndtv.com/article/india/34-warships-sent-from-us-for-obama-visit-64459

Is Obama going crazy?

He will also be protected by a fleet of 34 warships, including an aircraft carrier, which will patrol the sea lanes off the Mumbai coast during his two-day stay there beginning Saturday. The measure has been taken as Mumbai attack in 2008 took place from the sea.

Obama's trip is going to cost more than the security for the Olympics.

Maybe this has to do with the bible code and Oprah??? Obama does have an inflated perception of himself.

Good thing this site has limited appeal otherwise our servers wouldn't be screaming in pain...z...we are going to have 20,000 unique visitors and maybe 50,000 pageviews for TODAY alone...not sure what planet you live on but that puts us in the top 5 for all financial blogs in the country...

and the reason ron paul is not invited to the debates or accepted by GOP hacks is that he tells the TRUTH...they can't handle it...everything that they stand for he's against...mostly corporate control of the government...and take a look at yourself...you're one of the party hacks jim demint was describing yesterday...you can't stand that the truth comes out whenever ron paul speaks...so you belittle him...admit it...you want war with iran, afghanistan, iraq, somalia, sudan, pakistan, yemen...should i go on...

oh...and the dylan ratigan videos are always are the MOST popular stories,,,usually getting 2X the pageviews vs. other stories...smart people from both parties love Ratigan b/c he tells the truth...you hate him precisely b/c he tells the truth...

z...you don't see traffic logs...i see every single hit and referral...you've never run a website...maybe you should give up trying to give me advice on how to run one...i'd like to call you a blabbering idiot, but that would an insult to blaberrers everywhere...

also, to further demonstrate your unique ability to be wrong...the only other stories that are consistently MORE popular than dylan ratigan videos...hold it...3,2,1...Jon Stewart videos...

so the 2 people you think i should STOP posting b/c they drive viewers away, are actually our 2 MOST POPULAR subjects...

get a clue dude, your cerebellum is hanging out all over the sidewalk..

So Ratagain is more popular than Leibowitz, okay, I can understand that. Your site is geared towards the more liberal socialist crowd. They know where they can come to feed on snarky fare. Great, I am not trying to take away from that or criticize you for it. They have their appeal. Your visitors also know they can get a big helping of right of center attack pieces. Although unfair and unbalanced by design, you also have put in some attacks on Obama and his pathetic administration and his even more pathetic actions. You would be a fool not to notice and report on the hollowness of Obama’s words and all his broken promises. So all is good, no harm no foul there. Your “they are all the same message” rings true for many people. Eliminating both the Dems and Repubs would be the only acceptable alternative to the current system is well and good but not very plausible. As for the middle of the road financial stuff, these days you just can’t go wrong for those who need to be in the financial know. I certainly have no problem with Ron Paul, he is one of my favorite Republicans. He might go off on his tangents now and again but I enjoy them too. As for the tough words of the Repubs today such as Boehner’s promise to repeal Obamacare or at least derail it, I am very pleased. Things are really looking up, the market reflected the optimism that Obama would finally have some needed checks and balances to his dogged drive towards socialism or worse.

As for war, I do not want war with all those countries, the war is with radical Islam. The war I want is the “you are either with us or against us” war. The leadership of Iran has been killing our brave soldiers. They need to be held accountable. As for Pakistan, Obama promised to track down Osama. He told us that Bush had lost his focus on what was important. Osama was killed in Tora Bora by Rummy but okay.

You can attack me all you want but if you swapped out your Ratagain/Leibowitz clips for Beck/O’Reilly clips (who I do not support or like), you would double your unique visitors. If you dropped all your biases and just told it like it is, God only knows. I have been around a while. I have seen you change your tune on many issues. Would it be wrong of me to take some of the credit? For someone who has very strong opinions, you seem bothered when others also have them. You got a legion of yes men in here, cherish them but do you really want to be just preaching to the choir? Oh, it’s okay that you and Dr. Pepper refuse to challenge my opinions and ideas head on, the bully pulpit is yours. I don’t begrudge you that.

z....we challenge you every day...we just don't care about what you care about...and again i don't know how you can say this site leans left...most people think it leans too far right...it does neither...i attack the bs from both sides with equal venom...

and i think you miss my aim...i don't believe we will ever get rid of the 2 party system (really, it's 1 party) and i'm not trying to do so...if anything, i am pushing for 1 of the 2 to adopt the platform that most support...small gov't, small military, no deficits, anti-war, etc...

Wow, you should do some website polling and then move to Sweden.

z...let's see...i support ron paul, balanced budgets...i'm anti-war, anti-deficit, anti-stimulus...i would shrink the federal government by 50% as i've told you and detailed many times before...where does any of that sound like i'm coming from the left...you consider me left b/c i don't care about the birth certificate, obama's religion or any other useless crap...

And lastly, you support giulianni...a big-spending, war-fighting, paranoid idiot...you are a country club republican as was described by trent lott...you are not part of the solution...you represent the status quo...and giuliani is far to the left of ron paul by the way...on everything except fighting stupid wars and borrowing trillions to do so...

I am firmly against occupying Iraq or any other country.

Obama is sending more military ships on his vacation to India and Indonesia than he is sending to fight our war against radical Islam.

Has the U.S. lost its nerve...maybe Denmark can help...

Absalon sinks pirate ‘mother ship’

The Absalon, a Danish attack support ship, sank a pirate control ship off the coast of Somalia on Sunday, according to a Nato press release.

correct...i don't support obamacare...i published more than 100 stories expressing my particular issues with it....jeez you've been reading the site for 18 months...this is why i don't put much stock in your rants about me...you don't even pay attention to what i write or publish...i think you just come here to spam links and drop bombs...i don't think you read much of anything...maybe you watch an occasional clip, and then you complain if you see anything you don't like...

that's kind of how i see you...

You can be really arrogant, I assume you know that. I don’t read everything you post, I read what interests me and I read what grabs my attention. I get most of my news elsewhere and I don’t spend a lot of time trying to decipher your views. You voted for Obama, he preached and promised big government, socialized medicine (big government), cap and trade (big government), civilian national security force (big government), amnesty for illegal immigrants, and on and on and on. You also hate Sarah Palin and others who seem to share many if not most of your views. There is a lot of confusion. You also love Jon Stewart and other talking heads that are upset that Obama has gone to the middle (in their minds) and abandoned most of his campaign promises. You are also very naïve like your anti-war stance. Sorry, I don’t get it. You do not believe in any God and think people who do believe in a creator are somehow less intelligent than you. You feel fine about mocking them. You can clarify that one if you disagree. think you believe that because you agree with the subject matter in a story that you deem worthy enough to post, the content is factual and does not contain opinions and viewpoints. That is really astonishing to me. I have shared many of my opinions and viewpoints, you know, the ones that usually gets me your thoughtless insults. Do you really anticipate that everything you post should be taken as the gospel. Why should I want to commit many erroneous information, faulty assumptions, and blatant falsehoods to memory? Keep in mind that I do like to know how others interpret the news but I can decipher the good from the bad, the right from the wrong. So you see, I have taken the time to explain the best I can that your view of me is wrong and quite frankly a bit intolerant of you.

that's kind of how i see IT...

dense much.?..you still don't get it...you don't understand how you behave around here...i could care less if you read my stories...but you make it an issue when you attack me...for my supposed slant...don't you get it...?...you DON"T READ most of what is written around here but then you CONTINUALLY blast me for my views...but then it turns out you don't know my views because you haven't been reading...

is it sinking in...?...this is why i get pissed off...you dance around here and shit on pretty much everyone...talk down to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has ever been here...eventually, you are an asshole to everyone...

think how this started today...ut of the blue, you ripped me about content AGAIN...claiming that is why this is a marginal site and it keeps people away etc...another unprovoked bomb...and the work of someone who doesn't think or get along well with others - you...as i explained earlier, our traffic is off the charts...we did 18,700 unique visitors and 47k pageviews today- HUGE...but we didn't hit 50k...

lastly you completely misunderstand me and my voting...i'll say it 1 last time...ron paul supporter, hated sarah palin- she's a fucking whack job like yourself...therefore had to choose between not voting or voting to prevent sarah p. from gaining office...i did not vote for obama in my mind...i voted against mcpalin...and i've explained that vote dozens of times already...mccain is a clueless tool just like obama...the only difference was sarah...

you told me once that all i had to do was ask you to leave and you would...well now i'm asking you to leave...what little you add with occasionally decent commentary, does not stand against the constant aggravation that you provide to me and others...

My final thoughts...bull shit...jon stewart is funny sometimes, sometimes not...i post the stuff that's funny...or relevant...and the 2nd part is complete nonsense...i don't write about religion, i don't judge about religion, i don't care about religion...i realize that only 20-25% of folks are atheists...so i'm in the minority...where do you ever see my religious views...i've only mentioned them a few times in comments...but you attack me for it all the time...do i ever attack you for believing..of course not...but you come at me constantly...you have social and psychological problems that manifest themselves on these boards....maybe you keep them managed in real life, but they are on full bloom here...

What I said above goes...you can respond to me in this thread, but i'd rather you stop leaving comments beyond that...with as busy as i am i don't have time to watch these boards for your unprovoked attacks...so i'd rather just remove the source altogether...

Final word z...you obviously know me from somewhere in the past...and i think it's been extremely weird, creepy and stalkerish of you to never reveal your identity...but that all fits into the box of how you've behaved around here from pretty much day 1...

fine...i'll take away the comment about social and psychological problems...you pissed me off...but i'm not going to apologize for any of my main points, all of which are true...

you attack me for my content, but then you admit to not reading what i write... i'm tired of it...i'd rather not have to deal with it...
