"Still, consumers could inadvertently apply for a second tax credit on the same vehicle. Complicating matters, the federal form used to request the credit does not require a vehicle’s VIN, or vehicle identification number, something that would seemingly make such duplications difficult."
Who designs these programs?!?! Is the credit based on blind faith? Trubo Tim likely helped out with this one.
"In fact, the Treasury's inspector general for tax administration revealed earlier this year that as much as $33 million in improper battery car tax credits had so far been claimed, as much as $7 million of that figure considered unrecoverable."
Wow, big surprise there. In three years the finely tuned government machine will "correct" this problem no doubt while introducing new loopholes. Exactly why they shouldn't be "helping" in the first place.
WoW, it works great at the dock....
A question for any and everyone...
I just returned a few minutes ago from chicago where i've been all weekend filming for cheyenne's movie on the bailouts...and i noticed an advertisement at the bottom of my screen on all my pages...a hovering AD as they are called...and if you mouse over it it starts to expand and takes over my full screen...after i closed it and 'X-ed' out the AD it disappeared and hasn't shown up again...
Has anyone else noticed this or had the same hovering type of advertisement showing up when you are on this site...please let me know...i didn't authorize this and am trying to figure out whether it might be some Virus my computer picked up...or if others are seeing or have seen it...
Any help would be appreciated...
