1) Every company in the world upgraded their computer/networking/telephone equipment between 1995 and 2000 because a bunch of idiots convinced folks that the digital world was going to blow up when the clock struck 2000. It was such mindblowing nonsense.
2) Reason #1 led to the internet and technology stock bubble that began in 1996 and lasted until the Summer of 2000. Investors got rich and paid a shit-ton of taxes which made the deficit look a hell of a lot smaller.
TRUMP GAINS 2 POINTS IN LATEST NBC POLL
Though this is definitely good news for the Trump camp, it gets even better as more important polling data shows Trump leading or tied with Hillary in several key swing states including Ohio, Florida and Pennsylvania. Morning Joe breaks down the numbers, as Trump has gained two points on Hillary since last week. Recently, another national poll found Clinton leading by just 2 points.
THE TRUMP EFFECT ON MACY'S
Macy's stock market capitalization has cratered from approximately $20 billion on the day they cut ties with Donald Trump to $9.5 billion today. Sales are down 40% versus last year. The absolutely hideous 1-year and 5-year stock charts are inside.
The lesson is simple: do not mess with the Trump Train or you will be annihilated.

More tales of Clinton corruption as CNBC reports, after Hillary stepped in and negotiated a lenient settlement with the U.S. government over allegations that the Swiss bank UBS helped clients hide tens of billions from the IRS, the Clinton Foundation was immediately rewarded with a tenfold increase in donations and Bill Clinton was then invited and paid $1.5 million to speak at a UBS corporate event, the most he has ever been paid for a single event since he left the White House.
