Last night in Indiana, Ted Cruz lashed out at the national media for favoring Trump. Cruz fails to consider that the majority of sane Americans, including members of his own family, correctly believe that he's an extremely creepy individual.
The gloves have come off. Donald Trump discusses Hillary Clinton during his victory speech last night after sweeping all five Republican primaries. Trump also won Indiana yesterday one week before any votes are cast in the Hoosier state..
"Frankly the only card she has is the woman card, and the beautiful thing is that women don't like her."
Larry Summers, Phil Gramm and Bill Clinton celebrate at the signing of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act in 1998, which repealed the Glass-Steagal Act of 1933. This bill led to the creation of mega-banks and financial service firms that quickly became too big to fail, and paved the way for the global financial crisis of 2008.
I set the clip to begin with Phil Gramm's comments. After him, you can skip to 14:00 when Summers introduces Clinton, unless of course you want to watch the monkey.
In this WSJ podcast Author Michael M. Thomas, who worked at Lehman Brothers and then wrote about the financial crisis for the New York Observor, discusses his new book Fixers, ostensibly about a Wall Street consultant on a mission to rig the 2008 election by funneling millions of dollars to a charming young presidential candidate.
Excellent short clip from Friday on Fox Biz. SunEdison benefited to the tune of $750 million from taxpayers, mostly through its purchase of First Wind. Marc Morano discusses green skeletons, Solyndra 2, renewable illusions, and rampant crony capitalism at SunE.
This is hilarious. Coach Bob Knight demonstrates exactly how to deal with biased reporters.
Knight endorsed Trump today and it was the highest trending topic on Twitter for the afternoon. They are scheduled to campaign together across the state.
Rachel Maddow supports Bernie Sanders. Hillary knows it, and she's been seething for awhile. This is starting to get personal. She showed her anger tonight in front of a national audience. I can think of at least one way Hillary could still lose to Bernie: but only if James Comey gets off his ass and busts hers.
Bob Knight announced today that he is endorsing Donald Trump for president and that he will campaign with him Wednesday night a big rally in Indianapolis. Knight is still revered by most Hoosiers, so this effectively closes the deal on Cruz in Indiana, though it was never really going to be close either way.
I have no idea where this footage came from originally. But I do know that I had never heard of it before this morning. You can very clearly see Senator Ted Cruz sneak a folded bill of uncertain denomination into the outstretched hand of someone at the rope line. It appears intentional and the man seems to be expecting the cash. It looks like a $100 handshake, and 'thank you for your vote.' And it might even be a felony in some states.
The clip was just uploaded to Youtube today, so the footage could be new. I'm still digging.
The commentary you hear during the clip are the voices of soldiers working as ground support during the drop exercise, which was being conducted by the 173rd Airborne Brigade at a base in Hohenfels, Germany.
This gem of a story was on the wires this morning. We knew this day was coming. How did I think of the headline, you wonder? No one is that good of a writer. No one exceptfucking Goldman Sachs, that is. Because it's their headline. Nope, scratch that. It's actually their new corporate motto, splashed all over the front of their godforsaken brand spankin' new consumer website, set in place to siphon all of earth's dollars until the end of time.
Fracking in Australia leaves its freaking mark on nature. From the video author:
I was shocked by force of the explosion when I tested whether gas boiling through the Condamine River was flammable. So much gas is seeping into the river that it held a huge flame.
