Bob Knight announced today that he is endorsing Donald Trump for president and that he will campaign with him Wednesday night a big rally in Indianapolis. Knight is still revered by most Hoosiers, so this effectively closes the deal on Cruz in Indiana, though it was never really going to be close either way. Surprisingly, this story has been the #1 trending topic on Twitter all afternoon. Knight has spoken very favorably about Trump in the recent past, and has said some amusing things about Hillary.

"Just like I said, let’s get Mitch Daniels off his ass and get him out there working, because I damn sure don’t want to be listening to Hillary Clinton for the next four years."

Trump took a serious dive about a month ago. In the reuters daily rolling poll, he was within 5 points of her more or less consistently this year, and then the heidi cruz photo, the hand size shit, everything else the media blew up.

Hiills is incredibly unpopular, historically unpopular even, and yet she is a big favorite because the media has succeeded in demonizing Trump in the minds of voters. And the media is only going to get tougher on him once he squares off against Hildabeast one on one. They hate him and they will do everything in their power to deny him. It will be an absolute shitshow this fall, and a fucking miracle if he can pull it off.

Well they keep on playing sound bites of him instead of the whole thing. It makes news I guess. I wish he would use his super powers. I mean, he owns all of those high rolling hotels and casinos and you KNOW he has kept the tapes to all the skullduggery that has been going on so to speak. Trump came out first to introduce Knight, who later re-introduced Trump to the crowd. The three-time national championship-winning coach, a revered figure to Hoosier fans, said if elected, the New York businessman would have a better relationship with the military than any previous president.

Knight, who clarified that he was not in the business of representing the Republican Party, said he was there to call on voters to hit the polls May 3 and support Trump.
