What Do People Really Think Of Goldman Sachs? (VIDEO)

Video:  Average people in NYC are asked about Goldman Sachs.

Short clip running about 70 seconds.  Responses were informed and interesting.  Good thing they didn't ask RLR or AB for their thoughts.  Might have needed police protection.  We kid because we care.  Happy Friday.

I think Goldman Sachs and the employees that make up the communist company are a bunch of criminals. If I ever have a chance to sit on a jury of a Goldman Sachs employee...GUILTY as charged.

Let's face it, most of the country is busy trying to put food on the table and they don't read how Goldman Sachs stole money from the Country's tax coffers. Once the company steals the money, they give it to the employees. Those criminal employees who get this fraudulently obtained money, then donate millions to their favorite candidate who wins elections and continues the cycle. Just like Obama, bought and paid for by Goldman Sachs.

Why would Goldman Sachs get the swine flu vaccine before anyone else? Why are they so special? Because Americans have allowed the criminals from Goldman to run Washington D.C.

Anyway, as I was saying, now that I've gotten that out of my system I think financial institutions should be regulated to the hilt. I'm an engineer, I produce things, computer chips for cell phones, pace makers, autos, even satellites and Mar's rovers. What the hell do they produce, wealth for them selves and that's it. I can't get a loan, my 401K was decimated, my friends our out of jobs, my credit cards rates we all increased while the limits we decreased, I worry about my jobs being outsourced overseas so the bean counters can make more money. I live in a neighborhood of a dozen upper middle class homes, one is for sale by the bank, property values have plummeted (I'm OK there, got your typical 30 year fixed rate and put 20% down, even if I was underwater my kids and I love our home and neighborhood, we would just tough it out).

All the above and to add insult to injury I had my tax dollars used to help these fuckers and now to continue to see them make money hand over fist that serves no ones interest other then the few of them, well, my forefathers fought for this country, German emigrants in the Continental army, my grand father chased Poncho Via around with Black Jack Pershing's Army, my Dad fought in the Pacific during WWII, cousins in Iraq, etc.

Now I think we need a little ruckus right her in the US, take it too the criminals, the terrorists in Wall Street, in Washington DC (Democrats, Republicans, it don't matter, they all seem to have their strings pulled by the uber wealthy).

I think we should take all the GS employees, and their families, and friends, and any supports and exterminate them like the pestilence that they are!

OK, now that I've gotten that out of my system (Stone them to death, hang them from the light posts on Wall Street, storm their houses and burn them!), phew, sorry, little more flash back to my previous sentiment. Anyway, as I was saying, now that I've gotten that out of my system I think financial institutions should be regulated to the hilt. I try not to think about Goldman Sachs because I fear I might begin to believe that Dr. Joseph Goebbels wasn't lying about the financiers. And I'd rather continue to believe that the Nazis were more evil than the Goldman Sachs employees that run the White House.

John S,
I will definintely join you in your hatred for the criminals at Goldman Sachs. However, referencing the Nazis and Joseph Goebbels condones their illogical ideology of Jewish control. We cannot blame a group of people for the actions of a few criminals. Just as, the entire German population wasn't guilty of genocide because of Hitler's actions.

I do believe, that the organizations that stole money from our government, like Goldman Sachs, and the organizations that continue to get free money from the Treasury, like Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan and Citi, only to turn around and lend it to you and I for 5.25% should all be seized. The employees should be forced to give back the money they stole.

Thanks, Benny. I wouldn't have been as measured in my response as you. I mean, WTF John S.? Ironically, if you're talking like that you might as well be doing propaganda for them. Good grief.

As for David, I can understand being angry. I share the anger, but "their families"??? And "exterminate them"??? Talk like this is just asking to be used against us. Don't get me wrong, you're right to be angry and yes, it is very much US against THEM, but suggesting we should murder women and children.... Besides just being wrong, it can and will be used against us. And not to be all tin-foil about it, but we know the people at Treasury have been paying attention to what goes on in the blogosphere. (Fuck you, Geithner. We know you're in over your head. LOL)

Although I do NOT condone visiting violence upon the innocent friends & family members of Goldman Sachs employees, I DO understand where David is coming from.

The OUTRAGEOUS actions of these asswipes at Goldman Sachs -if allowed to continue unchecked - will almost CERTAINLY result in the unleashing of a wave of popular FURY against them & their loved ones ...sooner or later. IF that occurs then Goldman Sachs will have NO ONE BUT THEMSELVES to blame for it.

I DO appreciate David expressing his feelings in no uncertain terms such as he did. Such justifiable expressions of anger should serve to put the fear of God into these GS bastards in a way that polite & civil discourse will NEVER achieve. And I also DO look favorably upon committing violent acts against DIRECT GS employees. Sorry, but I feel we're actually in an UNDECLARED WAR struggling for our NATIONAL SURVIVAL and wars ALWAYS have casualties.

Up to NOW those casulaties have been counted almost EXCLUSIVELY among the American working class citizens, our economy and our constitutional warranties; ALL of which have grown POORER, WEAKER and SUBSERVIENT to the interests of a FEW chosen well-connected FINANCIAL PIRATES.

As a juror sitting in judgement on a potential case involving violence against any GS employee, I would exercise my 6th Amendment Jury Nullification right in order to COMPLETELY ABSOLVE the defendant/s REGARDLESS of what the "law" says or the judge instructs.

BTW, I encourage people to LEARN MORE about what "Jury Nullification" means and how it works.

This *FUNDAMENTAL* RIGHT which is included under the 6th Amendment is PURPOSELY HIDDEN from and NOT MENTIONED to American jurors nationwide because -in essence- it puts the ultimate decision & verdict on ANY criminal case COMPLETELY into the hands of WE THE PEOPLE, my dear brethren. WE, THE PEOPLE and NOT some corrupt, pompous asshole attorney wearing a cheap 90% polyester black robe.!

OBVIOUSLY these completely UNINFORMED RETARDS have NOT truly given Goldman Sachs any "thought" at all.

Ask them what they think of the new fucking stupid IPad instead tho and suddenly you'll see how their faces light-up with glee as they correctly and quite knowledgeably detail each and every one of its pro's & con's, pricing, availability, convenience or lack thereof, color options and other inane banalities.

And this is all because -my dear friends- we NEVER really answered that powerful question once posed by one of this county's GREATEST and WISEST LEADERS: "IS OUR CHILDREN LEARNIN'"?

(short answer as per video; NO THEY AIN'T motherfucker!)

David...i added your more measured comments to the story...i agree with james that a call for violence against their families crosses the line...in fact, i believe, random acts of violence of any sort cross the line...the moral high ground would be lost...and the entire anti-Wall Street movement would become associated with violence...suddenly bankers would be getting sympathy...not the best plan...satisfying yes, smart, no....

at the same time i understand the desire for violent revenge...so i'm not judging anyone's motives...just whether violence is the right course of action..

Dear daily bail guys, your doing a great job and I was blowing a lot of steam (too much caffeine in my system yesterday). I do not condone violence against innocent children, they are very precious and innocent indeed (I'm a single full time father of three great kids myself having lost my wife several years ago). So. please accept my appologizes for my comments about children (no I'm still so F'ing incensed I will not retract my comments about GS terrorists themselves!)

Our heartless and greedy financial system and government that props up the same, well, I don't see them taking care of anyone other then themselves at OUR expense. I paid for two months of electricity bills for a neighbor as they are already many months behind on their mortgage and have had eviction notice served on them by the bank, I could not stand by and see them go cold with the bitter wintry days we have had the last couple of months (their electricity was being threatened to be shut off and they have no where to go and no where to turn except for our homeless shelter system). I take groceries with my kids to the local food bank on a regular occasion, etc., etc., etc. Where are these despicable wall street terrorists and their good deeds? I see none, all I see is abominable greed (associated with NO race/religion/ethnicity/etc., unfortunately a frailty of all of humankind).

So, it's out of my experiences I lash out without thinking sometimes. And, quite frankly I don't wear a tin foil hat and don't give a shit because things need to change, enough is enough with these criminals!

Good for you. We've helped out a few friends and neighbors, too. Mostly helping them get out of debt or else helping out with medical bills. The way we look at it, those are some of the best investments we've made over the past couple of years. Believe me, I understand exactly where you're coming from, David. I found out over Christmas that my parents have been doing similar things for people where I grew up. It's good to know in spite of all the shit going on, there's still plenty of decency and goodness and generosity out there.
