WATCH: Cop Fired After Illegal Search Video Goes Viral
Video from Lexington, Kentucky last weekend shows a student setting up a camera before arguing with two campus police officers while refusing them entry to his dorm room. The officers, who alleged alcohol had been dumped from the room’s window, demanded to search the premises for more alcohol but did not possess a warrant.
The 4th amendment action begins at the 3-minute mark.
Fast Times at the University of Kentucky.
'There is no 4th amendment here.'
"Listen man, do you want to be kicked out of this university? I can pave that road. Don't even bother paying your tuition bill next semester, because we’re going to get you kicked out of school."
Now four days later, the kid is still in school and the cop got fired today.

In the USA, its okay to send an 18 year old to go kill innocent people around the globe but they can't even buy a beer legally.
America is the most screwed up country on earth., Just arrogant bullies and slimeballs who think they are better than other human beings.
Karma won't be kind to the Useless Snakes.
The younger pig needs to also be fired. I hope the student sues the two pigs and the school for civil rights violations.
I liked the kid. I'd hire him for his brain alone. Often a bad attitude is a good sign. More than often.
If fat boy had any skills at all he'd have laughed and maybe joked a bit himself.
Much ado about nothing.
How hard is that?
Scum. Pure fucking scum, the cops in the US and all of North and South America. I was born in the USA and live in South America, I know what I'm talking about. Cops in Europe don't generally go around looking to ruin someone's life. But I still would never trust them or go to them for more than directions to the bathroom.
Let me say it again: Cops in the Americas are pure fucking scum. Only scum are allowed on the force. No others need apply.
if this animal comes to Canada "you leave feet first asshole"!!!!
you have my word on this!!!!
A friend of mine, who was a bit older, was a canine cop. He told me "to be cool" because they came into our barracks regularly and searched our rooms. And we were supposed to be the defenders of freedom.
I could tell lots of stories of their sickness. A quick example: They knew where the kids parked to pet. Several would park their cars and sneak up on the kids in their parked cars (They'd walk 500 meters). If a couple were engaged in heavy petting or beyond, they would yank them out and humiliate them, and, of course, attempt to take sexual advantage of the girl. It never worked that I know of. I was told I had an attitude problem because I objected to their activity. I, like most kids in the 70s, had gone "parking" in high school. What a joke.
Truly, Nothing new here at all! Except of course, cell phones with video cameras. Look out Cops! I hope you All go down!
The cop's partner needs to be canned to because he witnessed a felony and did not report it to the proper authorities. You ever hear of "misprison of felony?"
No more donuts for former Officer McLard!!!
Here is some good reading for all you cops out there, or more specifically, the ones who CAN read.:
USC › Title 18 › Part I › Chapter 1 › § 4
18 USC § 4 - Misprision of felony
Whoever, having knowledge of the actual commission of a felony cognizable by a court of the United States, conceals and does not as soon as possible make known the same to some judge or other person in civil or military authority under the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.
The youngster could be conservative for all I care and I'd
welcome an oppty to support him.
If the campuses feel the chill of a police state we
are lost to the control freaks hiring these cops.
Texans should stop feeling the need to assert gender
by acting like childhood-stopped paranoids bringing
guns on campus, too.

guns on campus, too."
WTF does that mean? Only the government should have guns?
A good start. Thanks to the young man in the video.
In U.S. vs. JOHNSON (76 Fed, Supp. 538),
(speaking of YOUR 5th amendment protected right against self-incrimination...)
Federal District Court Judge James Alger Fee ruled that,
"The privilege against self-incrimination is
neither accorded to the passive resistant,
not to the person who is ignorant of his rights,
nor to one who is indifferent thereto.
It is a fighting clause.
Its benefits can be retained only by sustained combat.
It cannot be claimed by attorney or solicitor.
It is valid only when insisted upon by a belligerent claimant in person."
The one who is persuaded by honeyed words or moral suasion
to testify or produce documents rather than make a last ditch stand,
simply loses the protection. . . .
He must refuse to answer or produce,
and test the matter in contempt proceedings,
or by habeas corpus."
