As for why comedians understand the issues, and pols don't, comics are first and foremost writers. Their job is to distill information down into the smallest components possible--a least common denominator that's a product of primes. A pol's job is just the opposite: they eat up as much clock as possible and bloviate to fill the space. You'll learn more listening to one minute of Rodney Dangerfield or Richard Pryor than 1000 years of testimony from Tim Geithner or Ben Bernanke, who are paid to spew misinformation and drivel.

Even though she is right, what SHOULD have been emphasized is the fact that the bailout shouldn't even HAPPEN in the first place.
I Could conceivably put it on her level too.....would the Govt. bailout someone from the 'hood' that started going under? The answer is an emphatic NO.

If you own a business, and it fails, you close up shop and do or try something ELSE. PERIOD!
That should be true for ANYONE. Rich, middle, poor.....
ESPECIALLY the rich and big mega companies that pay VERY little in taxes compared to everyone else. They had that extra tax money they saved to have their own bailout...but instead, try to become the wealthiest in the world..damn the poor people.
Period, end of discussion.

On a side note....
1) Central banks/reserves, billionaire bankers, and the just plain 'too many billions to count' people need to be eradicated, held responsible, jailed, have their assets frozen, and anything else appropriate to have this happen.
2) The U.S. Troops need to AWOL and/or MUTINY and refuse to take inhumane, illogical, illegal orders to basically kill their own families. Turn those ships and equipment around and REFUSE to participate!

If these two things don't start to happen before the end of this year, those troops are gonna watch their families and loved-ones die extraordinary deaths....all because they didn't refuse to participate in it...and quite frankly, made it happen...along with the bankers and such. Because THAT is what they are fighting for. There is no reason to be in the places they are for national security and freedom for this country. TROOPS: YOU WORK FOR THE BANKS AND THE RICH. You are doing NOTHING for your country...other than killing it!

Then...everyone in this country needs to realize that the restoration of any resemblance to change in this country will take decades, if not the better part of a century, to fulfill.
That restoration beginning can NEVER EVER happen until those two things above are taken care of.
No matter which way it goes from here on out....many people will be sacrificed. It's inevitable at this point. You just have to ask yourself whether you are willing to make the sacrifice or not. If you aren't, you need to keep taking your ducking lessons and stay the hell out of they way. Because it's coming.....one way or another, the change is coming. It HAS to..there's no way to effectively live like this any longer. Change takes sacrifice...if you don't want to sacrifice, you need to shut the hell up and lay down. PERIOD.

Just so you know...I am not one of those hell-bent on violence...truth be told, if it could be done peacefully, I'd give my life to make that happen for my children....but since it unfortunately CANNOT be done peacefully(protests and saying 'please stop' hasn't been working..right?) since it unfortunately cannot be done peacefully, I'm gonna have to sacrifice myself for my children anyway. Alone I have no chance...so I'll stay home and fight until I'm dead. At least I'm dying for something right.
If there was 100 million backing me(or anyone else for that matter) something might be saved.

Some people think that that means taking political figures out of office. In a way that needs done some too...however.....Well, if every single politician was taken out of office and somehow miraculously replaced with reasonable replacements...IT STILL WOULD NOT CHANGE A DAMN THING!!! The Bankers and the rich are STILL in power...and the TROOPS are still there doing their bidding for them. So it changes almost NOTHING.
I'm taking about restoring the U.S. ... but the problem is global. The U.S. people could effectively change the globe for the better. They are in that position to do so. But not for very much longer..because the actions of the bankers and the troops doing their bidding without question, make every goddamn citizen of the U.S. a threat...and disliked. Because we do NOTHING.
That must change VERY soon. Or everyone dies a slave. Period.
I'm not going down like that, and neither should any other!!!

Bailouts like these are distractions from whats needed to be done. And people stay asleep..(especially the troops)when their very own lives, and the lives of everyone they know and love, are about to be taken from them. PATHETIC.
