Video Of Paul McCartney Bashing George Bush Cut Out By PBS In Tonight's Presidential Concert (WATCH)

Video:  What PBS didn't want you to see

McCartney takes a swing at GW.  Runs 20 seconds.  The concert itself, broadcast tonight by PBS, was excellent.  Three clips of the musical performances are inside.

PBS Defends Cutting Footage of McCartney's Jab at Bush From Broadcast

"It was completely ungracious and undignified," former White House Press Secretary Dana Perino told FoxNews.com at the time. "And it showed how shallow people can be, and it was sad to me someone of Paul McCartney's stature can in one moment erase years of goodwill that he built up with so many people in America."

Ha ha ha. This coming from a moron who had never heard of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

(Of course, McCartney probably thinks Obama did better on his SAT's than Bush. Not likely. Not that we could actually know, either.)

James, why not post the real video of Dana Perino talking about the CMC, to post a silly clip makes your post silly.

Isn't it he who laughs last? Dubya must laugh at Obama and Biden every day Gitmo stays open, OBL remains on the run, and so on and so on.

Obama is just kissing McCartney's ass to suck up to the British. After the BP fiasco, the Brits must think Obama is a floating clump of oil.

Isn't this bigger news...

Obama and 'The View': Two wars, oil crisis, crashed economy and he's whooping it up with Whoopi

http://www.nydailynews.com/opinions/2010/07/28/2010-07-28_tuning_out_the_obama_show.html

Regardless, this is where we are: Obama is in trouble and doing what he usually does in this situation, reverting to showmanship instead of leadership: Beer summits with cranky Harvard professors and Cambridge cops, ESPN appearances to fill out his March Madness bracket, appearing on David Letterman's "Late Show" to joke about his agenda - little of which is composed of laughing matter, as far as I can tell.

YIKES!!!

Oprah must be pissed with her ratings in the tank.

z...the obama view story will be news tomorrow when there's video to show...today it's a weak story...tomorrow an excellent story...

z...you just told james h that posting a silly clip makes him look silly....dear god...1/2 your clips are stupid and silly...and you post a lot...and besides that, it wansn't really silly...i didn't know perino hadn't heard of the cuban missle crisis...so it was a helpful clip...you'll make fun of obama to no end, as we all do, but you can't handle when bush and his minons get slammed...

It's the story behind the story that should be a story today and tomorrow that will only grow tomorrow when he acts like an idiot for a bunch of idiots.

The story is that Obama is afraid to do real interviews. He is afraid to answer the tough questions. His PR push is understandable but pathetic.

I would consider it but I have seen what it has done to your health and attitude, it doesn't seem worth it.

The Dana Perino thing is a stretch at best...http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2007/12/10/dana-perino-and-cuban-mis_n_76129.html

I was just pointing that out. Even with the Huffington fluff piece I just linked to I wouldn't believe that this is the whole story or even that true.

I found this clip...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=49ZUx4KuP5c

And this NYT post...http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/10/nobodys-perfect-press-secretary-edition/

I still don't see the point. There is a lot of history there, who would know all the details if they didn't live through it or study it. If that makes her a MORON as James called her or a MINION as you called her than so be it. Was that the point being made?

I was just pointing out that unlike you, I can't get facts from spoof clips even if I don't like the person or who she worked for. I was not defending her, I couldn't care less what anyone thinks of her.

Give me one major thing that President Obama has done wrong that was't the result of trying to correct a problem that was handed to him from the eight years of Bush ! Don't bring up the BP fiasco - this was as much the fault of inept Government regulation as the "Could care less about safety" philosophy of BP.

It's EASY to take a shot at the ex U.S. Retard-in-Chief NOW. I would have admired Sir Paul much more had he said the same publicly two years ago.

Or if he had the courage to say it about the current douchebag we now call our president.

It really doesn't matter who is sitting in the oval office. Obama, Bush, Clinton, Bush and whoever came before. For the last fifty years or so they have all been special interest puppets with a large elite fist jammed up their butt telling them what will be allowed and what won't be tolerated. If they don't do as directed Congress guides them back to the proper agenda.

You are so right on SageBrush. Many dont know, or dont want to admit our goverment has been hijacked since 1912. Each 4 years the grip gets tighter on us. Just wait till 2013 gets here.

&...........Im Ashamed to admit im an Entertainer from the same eara. I did Buddy Holly, and all the 50's guys. The 60's, and yes some Beatles. And all of the Grand Ol Opry music, from 8th grade on.

Paul is a "X Beatle" in my eyes from now on. A couple have the same words, and Dar 2nd's it. Talk about "Suckking Up" to the bigest Puppet on the planet. Dont get me going on a Hero, Emmy Lou Harris. We "Ann" did 3 of her songs. No longer a Chic in my eyes.
