Video: Napolitano: Revolution Is The DUTY Of The People

Video - Revolution is in the air - Judge Andrew Napolitano

  • "...but how do you abolish it when your choices are John McCain and Barack Obama?"

More inside.

---

This is how you start a revolution...

Video is on the front page.  This might bring tears...

"We will not be silenced, whether you're a Christian or a Muslim, whether you're an atheist, you will demand your god damned rights, and we will have our rights, one way or the other! We will never be silenced!" (0:45)

Any right thinking American has to love Judge Napolitano. This brief clip reminds me of the impassioned speech given by George C. Scott at the beginning of the movie "Patton". Only the message is different - the passion and the voice are magnificent.

There are many problems with this point of view. While most Americans agree with it, including me, there is such a thing as Constitutional Law and the Supreme Court which determines what the Constitution "means."
Anyone who has studied the history of the Supreme Court can only come away deeply depressed and pessimistic about the efficacy of our national treasure called the United States Constitution to determine the form of our government and its laws because it has been interpreted to mean so many absurd things by Supreme Court judges over its 200+ year history.
The right to bear arms? Etc., etc. etc ......
I've never read it, but it is said that the Russian constitution was even more idealistic that the American one. But it had very little effect on daily life in Russia which was a grim, bureaucratic totalitarian dictatorshp by a new ruling class called the nomenclature by some people.
America has now become an entrenched, more or less hereditary oligarchy and the Constitution has become, more or less irrelevant.
Maybe a married, gay Catholic clergy will change everything, who knows? What is clear is that the Supreme Court will continue to interpret the U.S. Constitution in a way that will guarantee the dominance of the oligarchy until it is clear that the oligarchy has begun to fall from its own weight.
Until then, any revolution of any kind, from single payer health insurance to the right of workers to organize into unions, will be impossible.
For now, revolt against pizza if you dare.

Hence the term "Domestic Terrorist". If you disagree with what is happening...you are obviously a kook. Freedom and Liberty are only as accessible as those in power allow them to be. If you are a Bank or Politician...you are then free to take as much as you want from the American People just like the right of government to eminent domain. That is to say, they can take all they want if it's for the "good" of the Country. Those here on the Daily Bail feel strongly that the "good" of the people would be better served if the Gov't would take less from us and let us decide what is good for us.......AB

Judge Andrew Napolitano’s 64 second sound bite had me do something I am embarrassed to admit to, that is, to read the entire text of the United State Declaration of Independence for the first time. For this, I thank Judge Napolitano. His comments raised my curiosity to understand what the significance of “…the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it…” and “…it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government…” meant to the fifty-six (56) signers of the Declaration.
After reading the history of its’ writing and reading it many times, it is my opinion that Judge Napolitano’s cavalier use of these significant terms contained within the Declaration is misplaced for a person of his status, education and legal background. The current political atmosphere within our republic is very lively, some would say toxic. I say it is good, healthy and it is our right and duty to participate. I am fully aware of the hot-button issues which give reason for some, presently on the political right, to say the sky is falling so we need to revolt against the currently elected government. This is the position Judge Napolitano is advocating in his sound bite and referenced the Declaration to support such action. This is where his use of the Declaration to support revolt is misplaced. The issues of today do not give raise to the same level of concerns, conditions and oppressions faced by the Colonist for decades prior to obtaining independence. Please read the twenty-seven (27) “Facts” or grievances listed in the Declaration against the British throne. One of the grievances created the very famous slogan, “No taxation without representation.” However, this by far, was not the worse of the oppressions they suffered. Compared to the “absolute tyranny” and “absolute Despotism” the colonist lived under, I believe the issues of today, though important, are light and transient in nature.
So I ask, do today issues give cause to alter or abolish the present government? I say not! To do so for such “…light and transient causes…” would not be an exercise in “prudence.”

Frank...When does the oppression we face today melt into Tyranny, in your opinion? I was just wondering because Politicians are like teen agers...give em' an inch and they respond by taking a MILE! These clowns have had about 1/2 of a YARDSTICK and MOST Americans want them STOPPED COLD. This is debt slavery in the form of National Deficits. You cannot argue that fact. I agree we need to revolt by paying off ALL of our personal debts and VOTE. I DO NOT want to see armed conflict erupt within our borders but that outcome is in the Administrations hands. People want to be heard and not have things jammed down their throats like Cap and Trade, Healthcare, More National Debt....Etc.

Frank

It's the slavery of indebtedness that is the modern political sin. Indebting future generations without their consent. To me that is tyranny.

Congressman Joe Wilson (R-SC) got the message.

You all know it warms my heart to see members of Congress turning into an angry healthcare protest mob.

I'm still not really following the issue...what''s the word...is something going to pass this Fall or not?
Sep 9, 2009 at 10:37 PM | Registered CommenterDailyBail
I have no idea. After TARP and "Stimulus" and PPIP (nearly), I'm just mentally exhausted and I just can't keep tabs on any more abuse. It's like Celebrity President from Hell -- they just won't go away. And then there was the Barack Jong-iL moment with the kiddies yesterday. Luckily my son's school had better things to do, but I hadn't heard about it until the (Labor Day) weekend, which I guess blows my cover and proves I'm not a genuine right-wing nutjob after all. (Otherwise, I would have gotten the memo.) So all in all, having people all across America yell at their congressmen and call them liars has been pretty uplifting because health care "reform" is something I had just given up on.

Pretty much how I feel...I enjoy the abuse of Congress immensely, regardless of the issue...fun to watch them suffer...

I am becoming more depraved by the week...

SEC CRIMINAL CROOKS BUSTED USA PENSIONS VIA AIDING CORPORATE & WALL STREET CROOKS.......................

Full Text Of Rakoff Order Exposing SEC's Corruption And Cronyism

One of those hopefully seminal moments, when someone, somewhere decided to take a stand against the perpetual engine of corruption, greed, and cronyism. From Judge Rakoff's Order

For example, the Consent Judgment would effectively close the case without the S.E.C. adequately accounting for why, in contravention of its own policy, see Order, 8/25/08 (quoting the policy), it did not pursue charges against either Bank management or the lawyers who allegedly were responsible for the false and misleading proxy statements...

The only way for things to change is to remove everyone from federal office and BAN anyone who is a MEMBER of the CFR, Trilateral Commission, Bilderbergers, Masons, Mormon, JW, Jesuit, Lucifarian, Royal Roundtable, Skull & Bones, Scroll & Key, Royal Bloodline, Zionist or any member of a private organization that uses politics to further private agendas. If you do not do this, you will NEVER solve the problem.
