Tom Delay Hopes That His Future Cellmate Has NEVER Seen This Video
Video - Delay on Dancing with the Stars - 2009
SNL just ran 2 seconds of this on Weekend Update and I found it on youtube. Call me disconnected from useless pop culture, but until tonight that I had no idea Delay was on that show, or you can be assured that I would have posted this gem some Saturday night long ago. The dangerous part for Delay's future stay in prison is most evident starting at the 20-second mark and ending at about 32 seconds into the clip.
In case you missed it this week, Delay was sentenced to 3 years in prison after being convicted on money laundering and conspiracy charges.

Tom DeLay: Liberals Sentenced Me To Jail (VIDEO)
Former House Republican leader Tom DeLay says his conviction on money laundering charges was a politically-inspired case brought by prosecutors in "the most liberal county in Texas."
DeLay tells NBC's "Today" show that prosecutors "never proved" their case against him. DeLay is free on bond after being sentenced to three years in prison and 10 years' probation on a conviction of scheming to illegally influence Texas elections.

On Monday, former House Majority Leader Tom DeLay was sentenced to three years in prison after being convicted on money laundering and conspiracy charges.
DeLay, who was nicknamed "The Hammer" for his tough legislative tactics, says the ruling has more to do with political backlash than wrongdoing.
During a Saturday interview with Fox News, DeLay said, "I have an ego and I have arrogance that I fight everyday. But arrogance is not a crime that you put somebody in prison for. This is a political trial."
DeLay added that he is a target of "selective prosecution" by former Travis County District Attorney, Ronnie Earle.

Almost 1 in 10 American children are now being diagnosed with ADHD.
The number of cases in children ages 4 to 17 jumped 22 percent from 2003 to 2008.
Nearly 5.5 million children in the United States have now been found to have the disorder; that's an increase of about 1 million in recent years.

It's a non-existent disease...made up by the drug companies...
We've reported extensively on the ties between pharmaceutical companies and the physicians they fund to speak, consult and do research. But doctors aren't the only ones taking money from drug companies and they're not the only stakeholders in the field of health whose public disclosures aren't complete.
According to a new study in the American Journal of Public Health, not-for-profit health advocacy groups like the American Diabetes Association and the National Alliance on Mental Illness also get money from drug companies in the form of grants that more often than not aren't disclosed by those groups.

If Tom spends any time in jail, it will most likely be Club FED, and not a honeymoon suite with Bubba.
"Reagan Had Alzheimer's"
I would hope everyone already knew that, it was common knowledge to those paying attention.

It is a pill pushers dream, if you had any idea how many people get their kids on the meds just to take them themselves or sell the pills, you would be amazed.
The Drug Enforcement Administration has received reports of Ritalin abuse among diverse segments of the population, ranging from health care professionals to street addicts.
Individuals who abuse Ritalin either swallow the tablets or crush them to produce a powder, which is snorted. Some abusers dissolve the tablets in water and then inject the mixture.
Life's a bitch. Just when you think it can't get any worse, its does. I'm living proof of that.
Unless you are into that sort of thing, then Tom may be sainted.
So how much better are the million plus Americans who drive around with a bumper stick on their car that reads, "Support our Troops"? Yeah, there are millions of T. DeLays in one form or another. America is getting exactly what it deserves, and folks like T. DeLay are just serving it up.
Just how far can someone fall?
