Wow, first dot.com bubble/burst in SF (& NY) as houses roared in '99-'03, then '03-'08 everywhere else, then POP! The majority of our country's asset value (housing) goes BOOM!...

I thought it was interesting how Dallas doesn't even show up until after 2000, when the oil depression finally lifted. I remember oil going to $10 per barrel in 1999.
