What happened to global warming?
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8299079.stm

This headline may come as a bit of a surprise, so too might that fact that the warmest year recorded globally was not in 2008 or 2007, but in 1998.

But it is true. For the last 11 years we have not observed any increase in global temperatures.

I'm not taking sides on teh warming debate, but i am at least willing to listen to both sides, something which can't be said of some of those on the enviro-side...and that's what pisses me off more than anything...when dogma trumps discipline...because a disciplined scientist always wants to hear his critics..

This is what happens when you sell out your Nation. How many jobs gone in the last 15 years? Jobs=revenue.

I wonder if Bernie has found a boyfriend yet to protect him.

And this revenue shortfall was at least partly masked by property tax revs being up during the bubble...and now that both are gone, look out below. Good point. As for the Goldman wives that article was pretty disgusting, eh.

Agreed, and yes it was.

On with the race to the bottom...
