Photos Of New Oil Spill Near Deepwater Horizon
Update March 20, 2011: A Coast Guard officer with a command center in Morgan City, LA, said today the Coast Guard has confirmed that oil is not coming from the Deepwater Horizon well but that they have found what appear to be smaller oil slicks in the Gulf. Their investigation into reports of large oil slicks is continuing. Additional photos and information from pilots John Wathen and Bonnie Schumaker who flew over the area yesterday are expected to be released today.
The Coast Guard is investigating reports of a potentially large oil slick in the Gulf of Mexico not far from the Deepwater Horizon site. According to a knowledgeable source, the slick was sighted by a helicopter pilot on Friday and is about 100 miles long. A fishing boat captain said he went through the slick yesterday and it was strong enough to make his eyes burn.
According to the Times Picayune, the Coast Guard has confirmed they are investigating apotentially large 100 mile slick about 30 miles offshore. They are going to a site near the Matterhorn well site about 20 miles north of the BP Deepwater Horizon site, according to the paper. The Matterhorn field includes includes a deepwater drilling platform owned by W&T Technology. It was acquired last year from TotalFinaElf E&P.
Independent pilots are attempting to reach the slick today. Bonnie Schumaker with Wings of Care reported she saw a slick two days ago and is attempting to reach the site.

Since people are dying as much from exposure to Corexit as to crude oil, it is a moral hazard to continue covering up the untold damage with more harmful chemicals, but you can bet more Corexit will nonetheless be sprayed.
This is one where you can never know which source to trust, or what is "real". What is certain is that rising gas prices and turmoil in the middle east are making it politically incorrect to admit to the vast scope of the problem.

Its sad that the goverment can just take and Kill anything that is in their way, to suit thAre needs, aint it.......? I do belive it was the 2 N Koerin Nuke Subs that started this hole thing. World leaders have invested Billions into this new fuel resurch. They just need wide open spaces to grow the Algie. They got it.
Plus, the bottom of Lake Mich. is dead, and the chesepeek bay aera is dyeing for smaller plants. Both of them had massive amounts of crude oil dumped into them. My guess there for resurch............

Some times my spellin aint wort'ed-a-Crap, becouse im on my 5th drink................So take yr pick. I still cant spell very well. & if Dar was Perfict like you and dident do a thing wrong, my spellin would still be poor........
But I can play any song, in any key you would like me to do. Not only that, Dar is the champ on the DB, for the most mis-splled words on any ol post each & every day.
Now, the DB is not about who can type and not mis-spell a single word, nor is it about Dar trying to make sure nobody beats me for having the most mis-splled words.
Its about what the hell our goverment and banks are doing to people like you & Dar..........So, now ya know. You got something you want to tell me about that yr not very good at...............? None of us are Perfecit, I screw'ed that one up good dident I....?

Now, if you have love ones in the gulf, please tell them to get the hell out. They will start dieing soon and the MSM wont say much about it....its up to us to help them.
