Newest Health Care Whip Count: 190 Yes, 206 No (205-209 with leaners)

The leadership says they have the votes, but projecting an aura of confidence has been a key to their pressure strategy. Bart Stupak says Democrats are 16 votes short, but pessimism has been, well, part of his strategy. So I prefer to actually, you know, count the votes.

The last count had it at 204-208, if you include leaners. Where are we now?

Gabrielle Giffords released a public statement saying “The legislation before us, while far from perfect, represents a needed step forward,” and saying that “when and if” her concerns are satisfied to her satisfaction, she’d be proud to support the bill. That’s as close as you’re going to get to a Yes in this atmosphere, so off the board she goes.

• Actually, you can get a bit closer to Yes – Dan Maffei said he’s voting for the bill, saying that “Doing nothing is no longer an option.”

• Riffing off of my whip count, Nate Silver gets some intelligence on Tim Bishop, who told constituents at a house party last week to write letters in support of reform. Combined with his votes and comments in the Budget Committee yesterday, I’ll move him to yes. (Interesting how the New Yorkers are coming off the board after the SEIU and the Working Families Party made their preference known.)

• I had Scott Murphy, a No vote last time around, listed as a yes, but his press secretary contacted me to say no, he’s truly undecided. Josh Schwerin, Murphy’s Communications Director, tells me, “he is literally reading through the Senate bill and making notes in the margins.” So I’ll put him back to a lean yes. I still think he’ll be there at the end, but this missive from the press aide sounded kind of anguished.

• I never put John Tanner, another retiring Dem and named by White House officials as a likely No-Yes flipper, in the lean Yes category. I’ll do so now.

• Glenn Nye, on the other hand, sounds like a lean No at best.

• Mike McIntyre’s a no, which is where I had him since I started these whip counts. The guy showed up at a right-wing “Prayercast” which was literally praying against the bill.

• There’s a third-hand report from the National Review about Tom Perriello being part of the Stupak bloc. I don’t really buy it. He’s been very tight-lipped about his vote, however, though leadership gave him the main sponsorship on repealing the industry’s anti-trust exemption. I’m thinking he’s a Yes, but I’ll put him in the lean Yes category for now.

• The Hispanic Caucus continues to make noises about voting no due to the immigration provisions, but they’re always leavened with talk of what a tremendous accomplishment this would be, and I just don’t see them not playing along on this.

• HCAN put some new pro-reform ads in rotation that have interesting targets. They include three members not on my board – Bill Foster (D-IL), Jim Costa (D-CA) and Harry Mitchell (D-AZ). Targeting Costa also gets you Dennis Cardoza (D-CA), as they’re in the same media market. I don’t know why they’re doing this – I don’t see these votes in play – but you have to expect they have a bit more information. I’m confident on Costa and Cardoza, but I’ll put Foster and Mitchell into the undecided category.

UPDATE: I should maybe not take these targets so seriously. OFA just sent me a message telling me to call into the district of Republican Dave Reichert in Washington and get supporters of reform to call his office. Now, Dave Reichert is never, ever voting for this bill. Why in the world would any group target him when there are so many other votes out there to get? Probably because OFA is part of the DNC and they don’t want to pressure Democrats. Point being, I think I’ll de-emphasize targeting in my analysis. The advocacy groups appear to be flying blind.

Add all that up, and what do you get? Maffei, Bishop and Giffords are Yes votes; Murphy’s back to lean Yes, John Tanner moves to lean Yes, Glenn Nye moves to lean No, and Perriello, Foster and Mitchell go back onto the board (with Perriello as a lean Yes). So that means there are 190 Yes, 206 No, and there are 15 lean Yes along with 3 lean No votes. So pushing leaners, you’re at 205-209.

You can see why leadership is even looking at the hard No votes. They are still going to need to do a lot of work to get this done.

Raw totals on the flip:

I don't give a SHIT about 'health care'.

I prefer imposing CONSTITUTIONAL RULE OF LAW & FISCAL SANITY first. THEN we'll be able to worry about & effectively deal with health care.

Hey Gobie, you have already been told RlR / AB / & JTS are separate individuals. You are the only one creating your own fan club.
JTS is one of my ride the mule or golf cart, drinking, shooting coyotes, pissing in our yards, tooth, fang, and claw kind of freedom loving individuals.

In the country, we pee on things like liberal homeowner associations. Nothing like marking territory, I bet you are feeling randy, and want white castles tonight...

Cloward-Piven Government

By James Simpson

It is time to cast aside all remaining doubt. President Obama is not trying to lead America forward to recovery, prosperity and strength. Quite the opposite, in fact.

In September of last year, American Thinker published my article, Barack Obama and the Strategy of Manufactured Crisis. Part of a series, it connected then-presidential candidate Barack Obama to individuals and organizations practicing a malevolent strategy for destroying our economy and our system of government. Since then, the story of that strategy has found its way across the blogosphere, onto the airwaves of radio stations across the country, the Glenn Beck television show, Bill O'Reilly, and now Mark Levin.

The methodology is known as the Cloward-Piven Strategy, and we can all be grateful to David Horowitz and his 'Discover the Networks' for originally exposing and explaining it to us. He describes it as: The strategy of forcing political change through orchestrated crisis. The "Cloward-Piven Strategy" seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse.

Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven were two lifelong members of Democratic Socialists of America who taught sociology at Columbia University (Piven later went on to City University of New York). In a May 1966 Nation magazine article titled "The Weight of the Poor," they outlined their strategy, proposing to use grassroots radical organizations to push ever more strident demands for public services at all levels of government. The result, they predicted, would be "a profound financial and political crisis" that would unleash "powerful forces ... For major economic reform at the national level."

They implemented the strategy by creating a succession of radical organizations, most notable among them the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), with the help of veteran organizer Wade Rathke. Their crowning achievement was the "Motor Voter" act, signed into law by Bill Clinton in 1993 with Cloward and Piven standing behind him.

As we now know, ACORN was one of the chief drivers of high-risk mortgage lending that eventually led to the financial crisis. But the 'Motor Voter' law was another component of the strategy. It created vast vulnerabilities in our electoral system, which ACORN then exploited. ACORN's vote registration scandals throughout the U. S. are predictable fallout.

The Motor Voter law has also been used to open another vulnerability in the system: the registration of vast numbers of illegal aliens, who then reliably vote Democrat. Herein lies the real reason Democrats are so anxious for open borders, security be damned.

It should be clear to anyone with a mind and two eyes that this president and this Congress do not have our interests at heart. They are implementing this strategy on an unprecedented scale by flooding America with a tidal wave of poisonous initiatives, orders, regulations, and laws. As Rahm Emmanuel said, "A crisis is a terrible thing to waste."

The real goal of "health care" legislation, the real goal of "cap-and-trade," and the real goal of the "stimulus" is to rip the guts out of our private economy and transfer wide swaths of it over to the government to control. Do not be deluded by the propaganda. These initiatives are vehicles for change. They are not goals in and of themselves except in their ability to deliver power. They will make matters much worse, for that is their design.

This time, in addition to overwhelming the government with demands for services, Obama and the Democrats are overwhelming political opposition to their plans with a flood of apocalyptic legislation. Their ultimate goal is to leave us so discouraged, demoralized, and exhausted that we throw our hands up in defeat. As Barney Frank said, "the middle class will be too distracted to fight."

These people are our enemies. They don't use guns, yet, but they are just as dangerous, determined, and duplicitous as the communists we faced in the Cold War, Korea, Vietnam, bush wars across the globe, and the Nazis we faced in World War II.

It is time we fully internalized and digested this fact, with all its ugly ramifications. These people have violated countless laws and could be prosecuted, had we the political power. Not only are their policies unconstitutional, but deliberately so -- the goal being to make the Constitution irrelevant. Their spending is off the charts and will drive us into hyperinflation, but it could be rescinded, had we the political power. These policies are toxic, but they could be stopped and reversed, had we the political power. Their ideologies are poisonous, but they could be exposed for what they are, with long jail sentences as an object lesson, had we the political power.

Every single citizen who cares about this country should be spending every minute of his or her spare time lobbying, organizing, writing, and planning. Fight every initiative they launch. It is all destructive. If we are to root out this evil, it is critical that in 2010 we elect competent, principled leaders willing to defend our Constitution and our country. Otherwise, the malevolent cabal that occupies the government today will become too entrenched.

After that, all bets are off. God Bless and Save America !!!!!

100% AGREED.
Ultimately, regardless of whether this is all part of a conspiracy (aka "Cloward-Piven Strategy") or NOT, the fact remains that the paragraph above summarizes EXACTLY popular opinion along with what would happen IF the American people had the political power TODAY.

Guys, it will be 2 years ago this October when the big boss came into Anns office and told her she has 5 min. to grab what she could and the Hospital Secuerty will escort you to your car. She was in middle Mang. for 16 years and the last 3 1/2 working a extra 2-3 hr. from the lap top at the cabin, after working 10 hr. each day.

Salery for 8-8 1/2 hrs. a day. She was in charge of 16 girls and was head of hospital billing. At that time we were at the bottom of middle class becouse im on SSI becouse of Lyme, plus 5 more things in me from 2 tick bites.

We were just scrapping by, and thats when we were paying $4.35 gas & $4.85 diesel. She has a new VW Jetta TDI that gets 57 mpg on the hiway and 39 in town.

So in 2007 & 2008 when everything was going up we got ate up by inflation, and barely holding water. After she was fired she got a job at the hospital working costomer servive for starting wages and $1.00 more.

That was the first time in 45 years we couldent get a bill and just pay it. First-Time, and what a piece of crap it made me feel. We went from 6 mo. ahead, to 1 mo. ahead, to just making it but paying the bills as they came in.

Now I guess were "Low Life" People by comparsion to whAre we were. We did nothing wrong here. We just got ate up by the IMF's plan to destroy our country.

10 Dumped Rescued Kittys only see Doc when its a must. "Mac-&-Cheese" is a 3 time a mo. thing. ( "P.S." Make it and let it sit in the Fridge for 3 days. 4th day take and Fry It in a pan on top of the stove.......Good As SEX ! ) Honest.

I took the Ins. value of our Clasic 1967 Owens Cabin Crusier, like new and all the bells & whistles. 3 heat, 2 airs, & Monster Air Horns from $45,000. down to $10,000. to svae it.

Have sold everything we can around here to stay a flote and still worryed the guy holding the note on our cabin with 5 yers left to go. We could be living on the Owens by this comming winter.

We have managed to stock pile food & water along with 500 MRE's from Jim Bakkers TV Show. Hes just a few Mi. from me in Blue Eye Mo. They are 100% better than the ones our troops get and fair price too.

Thoes who know me know Im long winded. ( Got Nothing to Do & All Day to Do It ) Most on here talk about what just happened, or whats about to happen. Dar, on the other hand worries about what will it be like after it has happened. And it will.

Its a lot more fun talking about what "The Wizzered of O-Bama Oz" has just done, or what Ol Joe Biddin just said. BHO needs to put a picee of "Pickkers Best Friend"........................Duct Tape over his mouth. Granted, what he says is true but hes helping our side more than his........

So, spar me No Pitty, were now "Upper Class Folks" now. I havent felt so helpless since 1970 when we were first maryed. But you could quit by 10:00 am, and be working by 3:00pm.

Working 45 hr. a week and playing in a band 2 nights a week, I was way ahead of my class. So, im lower than we were back in the 70's. What the Hell did we do Wrong....................................................."Nothing"...............

Now my Pecker sits idle. "Goopy" is my new best friend. Crap, forgot what it was that I liked better than "Guppy" Like we say here in the Ozark Mtns. "Ohhhhhhh-Weeeeeeeeell"....................................

S Gompers, we should get togeather and have a "HootanNany"..you bring the meat, and I'll bring the Fried Cat Fish........we can have Caraw-Dads diped in butter for Desert.

Oh, what ya's think of than Paul Ryon from "Sconsin"......everything he says is for the people, just like that guy thats warmming that Drunkin-Boozin-Rapein-Drounding guysseat in Mass.

Hows this......................."Paul & Paul" in 2012...............................?

Here Gobias, try and work this one out...................

How would you pronounce this child's name?

She spells her name "Le-a"

So how would YOU pronounce her name?

Leah? ....................NO.
Lee - A? ................... NOPE.
Lay - a? ............ NOT A CHANCE.
Lei?..........NICE TRY, BUT GUESS AGAIN!

This child attends a school in Livingston Parish, LA.

Her mother sued the school and was irate because everyone was getting her child's name wrong.

She says it's pronounced "Ledasha."

When the Mother was asked how in the world she figured

it should be pronounced that way, she said,

"cause the dash don't be silent!"

So, if you see a name come across your desk like this,

please remember to pronounce the dash.

And if anyone axes you why, tell them it's 'cause the dash don't be silent!

That crap reminds me of Ebonics, when Americans were so desperate to show political correctness that they allowed blacks to make-up a new language based -loosely- on Standard English. The excuse given by blacks was that in their native African languages the pronunciation of words and the cadence are totally different.

Of course the fact remained that NONE of the asswipes making those claims actually SPOKE nor UNDERSTOOD any "African languages" nor could they even name their original tribal origins. That's because Ebonics was mainly a BULLSHIT attempt at appeasing illiteracy by excusing it based on a bogus & crappy argument.

Don't Tread On Me! States Explore the Tenth Amendment
By Debbie Morgan, staff writer, www.TakeBackWashington.com, March 26, 2010

Watching the debate on healthcare was like having a nightmare while living in the circus. The clowns never hear those they "entertain," yet they continue to throw nasty legislation at the public. In one of the better moments from the debate, a Representative said the bill was totally unconstitutional, as the Federal Government does not have the authority to force the public to purchase anything. In an online forum, one gentleman stated that the bill is tantamount to extortion. It is apparent that we are down to the only peaceful recourse available...Support local State Sovereignty bills; the only way to overturn the healthcare nightmare, as well as all other over-reaching federal legislation!

When the subject of the Tenth Amendment has been raised in past conversation, some have laughed and some have said, "Oh, that will never work." Since its passage, many States have tried to invoke their Tenth Amendment rights on several occasions. The largest combined effort, before now, was during the Civil War, when eleven states sought to secede from the united States. Interestingly enough, the last time people got truly fired up about their States rights was during the Roosevelt Administration's "New Deal." Why do we have such a magnificent amendment to protect the states if we are not going to use it?

The February 2008 CRS Report for Congress, after quoting the Tenth Amendment, states, "While this language would appear to represent one of the most clear examples of a federalist principle in the Constitution, it has not had a significant impact in limiting federal powers. Initially, the Supreme Court interpreted the Tenth Amendment to have substantive content, so that certain 'core' state functions would be beyond the authority of the federal government to regulate." Yet, in the past, as now, the Federal Government continues to take what it wants, expecting the states to bow down in servitude.

Shortly after that Constitutional Convention, lawmakers saw the vague language and the need to recognize the rights of the States and their citizens. The Tenth Amendment was added, along with nine other defining amendments. Federal legislators, derelict in their duties, still see the Tenth Amendment as very vague and pass laws they are not truly authorized to pass. The Preamble to the Bill of Rights expressly states it's purpose, "...the States, having at the time of their adopting the Constitution, expressed a desire, in order to prevent misconstruction or abuse of its powers, that further declaratory and restrictive clauses should be added..." Since the Federal government overlooks this, I propose that, for clarity, it would be prudent to turn to the state-level debates that ensued during the formation of the State's Rights Amendment.

The book The Complete Bill of Rights gives us a much-needed glance at the thoughts of our legislators at the time. Eight states proposed clarification for the Tenth Amendment. It is interesting that all these states were clear about not allowing the Federal Government any extra flexibility from its Constitutional boundaries. Of those, a few stand out.

From New York:
"That the Powers of the Government may be reassumed by the People, whensoever it shall become necessary to their Happiness; that every Power, Jurisdiction and right, which is not by the said Constitution clearly delegated to the Congress of the United States, or the departments of the Government thereof, remains to the People of the several States, or to their respective State Governments to whom they may have granted the same..."

From North Carolina:
"That those clauses which declare that Congress shall not exercise certain powers, be not interpreted in any manner whatsoever to extend the powers of Congress..."

From Pennsylvania:
"That the sovereignty, freedom and independency of the several states shall be retained..."
From South Carolina:
"...that no Section or paragraph of the said Constitution warrants a Construction that the states do not retain every power not expressly relinquished by them and vested in the General Government of the Union."

From Virginia:
"...That all power is naturally vested in and consequently derived from the people; that Magestrates, therefore, are their trustees and agents at all times amenable to them..."

In the upcoming film Don't Tread On Me, Constitutional Expert Dr Edwin Vieira makes a striking observation, "We-the-People do ordain and establish...Public officials didn't do that, judges didn't do that...that is a statement that We-the-People have the authority; we are the ultimate law-givers..." This statement echoes the thoughts, opinions and written words of our early State legislators, as well as many citizens of today.

James Madison, one of our Founding Fathers and chief author of our Constitution, made several defining statements about the States and government. These two stand out.

From Federalist Paper #45:
"The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the Federal Government, are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State Governments are numerous and indefinite."

In regards to state sovereignty and the compact theory:
"Our governmental system is established by compact, not between the Government of the United States and the State Governments but between the STATES AS SOVEREIGN COMMUNITIES, stipulating EACH with the OTHER..." from the Dictionary of American History

There are other references, as well. Under the subject Reserved Powers of States in the 1940 Dictionary of American History Vol. IV, it states of the Tenth Amendment that it "...securely established the United States as a Federal state composed of a central government and a number of constituent state governments each possessing powers independent of the other." It also confesses that the "Supreme Court has, by a consistent policy of broad construction, added many implied powers."

In Vol. V of the same Dictionary, the States' Rights heading conveys "states' rights has meant different things at different times" further stating that, as Jefferson envisioned State's Rights, it was a "rule of strict construction applied to the powers of the central government..."

There are more references, to be sure. It is clear by the above exactly what our legislators at the time meant by the Tenth Amendment...the individual States will, indeed, keep their sovereignty. The Federal Government will be limited from over-reaching its bounds and converting the united States in to a dictatorial government under the Federal government. I heard someone say, and it makes sense, that our Founding Fathers had just fought a war to win our country's freedom from a tyrannical government (England) so why would they "create" a government with the same agenda? Why would they "win" their freedom just to give it up, again, to a central power?

Several states are drafting legislation to assert their sovereignty. Some of the more recent laws that have driven states to seek their Tenth Amendment rights are: the USA PATRIOT Act (which treads on the 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 13th Amendments) and its extensions, the Real ID Act (not passing on its own, it was attached as a rider to an appropriations bill), the John Warner Defense Act (ending Posse Comitatus), the Military Commissions Act (ending Habeas Corpus), the FISA Amendment Act (ending, then redefining, privacy), the Economic Stabilization Act of 2008, the America Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and, most recently, the newly passed healthcare disaster. No one is playing favorites. The last several administrations have been guilty of treading over the rights of the states and their citizens.

Charles Key, State Representative from Oklahoma and one of the most outspoken on the State Sovereignty issue, said in an exclusive interview for Don't Tread On Me, "The whole reason we have the Second Amendment in there...is to protect ourselves against an out-of-control government, a tyrannical government, a government that is violating the rights of the citizens...violates the law." Filmmaker William Lewis says, "Throughout history, tyrants don't give up their power willingly."

So what do we do? In a March 16, 2010 Wall Street Journal/NBC Poll, fifty percent of the people said they would "replace every single member of Congress, including your own representative," while forty-seven percent said they would not. It may be time to "start kicking ass and taking names," according to film producer Gary Franchi. Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer's stand is clear, "The Federal Government says we want to be your daddy. We want to tell you how to live your life. That's where we draw the line and say, whoa, not here in Montana." It is evident that other states are drawing their proverbial "line in the sand," as well.

What will it take for people across the United States to get angry enough to stand up and take back what is rightfully theirs; rights given to them by their Creator, NOT Congress? It didn't happen when Congress passed the Federal Reserve Act way back in 1913, or any of the other encroaching pieces of legislation since. Now we have the Federal Government mandating that we, as sovereign, individual citizens, purchase government approved health care! Can we not see that with each passing of an egregious piece of legislation the people are becoming more and more enslaved? What is it going to take to make people shout, "Stop treading on me"?

Resize:AAA.Parental Rights and Civil Wrongs: School-based Clinics and Abortion
Posted March 25th, 2010 at 5:00pm in Family and Religion, Health Care with 8 comments Print This Post

A Seattle area mother is distraught because a school-based clinic at her daughter’s high school arranged for the girl to have an abortion, even providing a taxicab to the clinic, without notice to her parents. A spokesman for the King County Health Department summarized the situation simply when he commented, “At any age in the state of Washington, an individual can consent to a termination of pregnancy.”

Washington is one of a handful of states that do not have a parental notice or consent law, according to Americans United for Life. In fact, the group’s rankings of the 50 states on the extent to which they provide for such policies as informed consent, parental notice, and conscience protection ranks Washington at a very low 42nd nationally. In states where parental notice/consent laws exist, they typically also require judicial bypasses for minors who can demonstrate, independent of their parents, that they are “mature” or that the abortion would be in their “best interest.”
As a result, it’s possible that the school-based clinic might have been able to arrange a clandestine abortion for the girl even if Washington had a consent or notice law. In the larger picture, school-based clinics have been controversial for some time. While they provide many helpful medical services, offering basic physicals and mental health services to low-income students, they also bring birth control devices and, on occasion it seems, abortion referrals into the schoolhouse.

Parents are asked to sign consent forms for their children to use the clinics, but these are not always itemized and consent on specific matters like abortion is determined by state law not particular clinic policies. Moreover, teenagers who attend the clinics and are Medicaid-eligible are covered by a provision of federal law that says the teen must consent before information about their accessing contraceptives can be shared with the parent or guardian. Liberals in Congress blocked Bush Administration attempts to reduce fraud and strengthen parental prerogatives by barring the use of Medicaid funds for school-based services, including the cost of medical referrals.

Interestingly, the mammoth health care reform bill just signed into law by President Obama includes authorization for a major expansion of federal financing of school-based clinics. The National Assembly of School-Based Health Centers hailed the bill’s signing because of the $50 million it provides over five years for a new federal grant program and the “emergency appropriation” of $200 million it makes for the clinics over the next two years.

Unlike community health centers in the bill, which were not covered by a specific abortion limitation, the health reform bill bars funds from going to any school-based clinic that “performs abortions” and funds may not be used to “provide abortions.” It also specifies that the clinic shall not provide services to an individual without the consent of a parent or guardian if the individual is “considered a minor under applicable state law.”

Which is well and good, except that the “applicable state law” in the area of abortion and birth control services may not exist, may authorize judicial bypass, or even mandate confidentiality for minors when the service is contraceptives. As for abortion referrals and taxicabs to the abortion clinic, whether funding them or entities that offer them is permitted will turn on whether the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services regards these acts as part of what it means to “provide abortions.” Until proved otherwise, a parent would be prudent to assume that the Obama administration’s HHS will conclude that the referral and the taxicab are just fine with Washington.

ARE AMERICANS STILL AMERICANS?

Written by Dr. Jack Wheeler
Thursday, 25 March 2010

That's the question and the bet of our day. Conservatives and TeaPartyers bet yes, Democrats and moonbat moochers bet no. The Republican Party establishment wants to bet yes but hasn't got the guts to go all in.

Understand this and you understand American politics today. Who wins the bet determines America's future.

What made Americans Americans was their commitment - unrivaled in human history - to individual liberty. This commitment was enshrined as the founding principle of America in the Declaration of Independence:

That every human being and specifically every American has a moral right endowed by his Creator, by what is required by his nature to be fully human, to his own personal life, his own personal liberty, and the pursuit of his own personal happiness - and that no government has the moral right or legitimate authority to violate this individual right.

Further, that the very purpose of government, what legitimized a government's very existence, was to secure and protect this individual right - and whenever a government becomes destructive of this right, those governed by it have a moral right to alter and abolish it.

The Declaration of Independence is the most truly revolutionary document in political history. It is the most profoundly moral document as well. And to confound the long line of philosophers who claim there is an unbridgeable abyss between moral behavior and pragmatic self-interested behavior, it is also the most practically successful document in history. America's prosperity dwarfs any historical comparison.

The truth of America's founding principles were "self-evident" to the Americans who created our country. They are no longer to an increasingly large fraction of Americans today. The stated purpose and clear goal of Democrats is to increase that fraction. The claimed purpose and alleged goal of Republicans is to reduce it.

For decades upon decades now, Americans on the whole have been slowly and progressively becoming less American, less independent and responsible for their own lives, more dependent on government programs and demanding of others to be responsible for them.

We have now reached the point where between 40 to 50% of people in this country are so unwilling to be responsible for their lives and freedom, so demanding of their supposed right to mooch off taxpayers, that they still maintain a firm support of a president who believes that God should damn America.

We have reached the point with the passage of ObamaCare that we are justified in terming those who continue to support President Zero and the Pelosi-Reid Democrat Party AINOs - Americans In Name Only.

In one sense, we can be glad that ObamaCare passed in the House last Sunday, March 21, and signed into law by President Zero two days later - because it forces the issue. America must now choose between freedom or fascism, there is no other choice, nothing in-between.

"Give me liberty or give me death," proclaimed Patrick Henry in 1775. "Live free or die," said Revolutionary War general John Stark, which New Hampshire adopted as its state motto. That was a real choice at the birth of America. Now it is again.

The next seven months are going to be the ugliest this country has experienced in our lifetimes. Any and all opponents of ObamaCare will be branded as terrorists - indeed they are already. The Democrats will look upon their ObamaCare victory as a template, and attempt to ram through via bribes and corruption passage of amnesty for illegals, a carbon tax, a VAT tax, and every other major item on their Marxist Fascist agenda.

Given the volcanic rage this will engender in so many people, it will be impossible for there not to be outbreaks and incidents of violence perpetrated upon Democrat politicians. This is exactly what the Democrats want. Their goal is to goad and provoke their opponents into violence so they can demonize them, so they can sic the FBI upon them.

It is going to take superhuman levels of self-control not to succumb to the temptation to take physical revenge upon the politicians and government personnel determined to destroy our country. There has got to be an alternative to violence that people can see is effective - much more effective, in fact, than violence.

That alternative for immediate personal action is: peaceful civil disobedience. Following TTP's call for a Defund and Disobey movement, Forbes Magazine is now quoting Ghandi - "civil disobedience becomes a sacred duty when the state has become lawless and corrupt" - and predicting the largest civil disobedience movement since the civil rights era.

There is one group of Americans who can lead this civil disobedience movement better than any other - and it's not the TeaPartyers. It's doctors. After all, they are the ones who are enslaved by the State to provide medical care according the State's edicts. If they refuse to be so enslaved, if they refuse to obey the edicts of ObamaCare, there is no ObamaCare.

In the face of their enslavement, many doctors will "go Galt" - retire or quit practicing medicine. Others will meekly comply, becoming PINOs - Physicians In Name Only - to whom you should never trust your life and health.

But others will fight. Like the group of 1,600 New Jersey physicians who are suing to overturn ObamaCare. Like Linda Johnston, MD, who is refusing to submit her patients' records to insurance companies.

I am willing to bet there are tens of thousands of physicians and medical practitioners willing to join this fight. Thus I propose they form an organization called Doctors Against Medical Fascism or DAMF. I even bought the website names: doctorsagainstmedicalfascism.org and damf.org.

If you know any medical doctors or practitioners, please ask them to consider helping to organize DAMF. If doctors take the lead in refusing to obey ObamaCare, millions will follow.

Millions of others will be bought off by ObamaCare's goodies and subsidies - like forcing insurance companies to insure their kids with pre-existing illness, or getting a Medicare rebate of $250 for prescription drugs - just like Bart Stupak's deciding vote was bought for $800K in handouts to his district.

Back in 2005, I wrote Infantilizomania. It argued that liberals possessed a neurotic compulsion to treat adults as children. It's worth re-reading now. Infantilizomania is the Democrats' path to power - because so many voters are willing to be infantilized.

This has got to stop, one way or another. And it will, one way or another, on November 2nd. Ronald Reagan won the Cold War because he decided his strategy towards the Soviet Union was not appeasement but "We win, they lose."

We have got to decide that on November 2nd, Americans win, AINOs lose. Here is the full page ad in every newspaper and on every TV channel in the country we should demand to see:

DO YOU WANT

1. To be free to make your own life?

Or

2. To have the government take care of your life?

If you answered Yes to #1, you are a Republican
If you answered Yes to #2, you are a Democrat

DO YOU THINK

1. That you are responsible for your own life?

Or

2. That other people (taxpayers) are responsible for your life?

If you answered Yes to #1, you are a Republican
If you answered Yes to #2, you are a Democrat

It's That Simple - Vote Accordingly

Paid for by the Republican National Committee * 310 First Street SE

On November 2nd, all Americans will be given the opportunity to be Americans - Americans our Founders would recognize as their fellow countrymen. If that opportunity is lost, America is lost. Americans will no longer be Americans any longer. We should thank Providence that we have been given a final choice in our country's destiny.

Yet again, this bill is another example of the elite masters of all politicians arrogantly waiving their control over the Straw men and women of the United States of America Corporation.

The majority of America was against this bill passing, but the elite masters needed it passed for several reasons;

To make more money.

To exert more control over the lives of the Straw person.

To create a basket of money that can be exploited as has Social Security over the years.

Politicians are the servants of the masters, not the people who think they have a say in the running of elections, that is just a diversion.

In November the Republican party will take control of the Congress, and will not repeal this law, as the basket of money has already been created for them to begin exploiting. Plus the masters will not allow it (both parties have the same masters).

To the naysayers, examine the true history of Social Security, the only reason it is in trouble is that every administration since it was created has been dipping into the basket stealing the money for other things and leaving IOU’s in its place, EVERY ADMINISTRATION.

By the way, Social Security was a Radical Liberal notion when it was created, and the self professed Conservative Right fought long and hard against it. Now who champions Social Security?

The Conservative Right.

What has changed? Nothing, the right to pillage the basket, and leave worthless IOU’s will be defended by both parties. The same will be of this new basket.

The politicians of both parties sit dutifully on the lap of the master, as any good dog will. The Democrat on the left knee, and To exert more control over the lives of the Straw person.

To create a basket of money that can be exploited as has Social Security over the years.

They will both roll around in glee in the lap of the master as he pets and tickles the belly of both at the same time. And when the master throws a bone on the floor they will both jump down and growl and play tug of war with the bone as the master giggles with delight.

But when called back to the lap of the master, they will both return dutifully to the lap, and snuggle together, after all, it would be inappropriate to bite the that feeds them. They may not be allowed back into the lap…

BANKERS MANIFESTO of 1892

We (the bankers) must proceed with caution and guard every move made, for the lower order of people are already showing signs of restless commotion. Prudence will therefore show a policy of apparently yielding to the popular will until our plans are so far consummated that we can declare our designs without fear of any organized resistance.

Organizations in the United States should be carefully watched by our trusted men, and we must take immediate steps to control these organizations in our interest or disrupt them.

At the coming Omaha convention to be held July 4, 1892, our men must attend and direct its movement or else there will be set on foot such antagonism to our designs as may require force to overcome.

This at the present time would be premature. We are not yet ready for such a crisis. Capital must protect itself in every possible manner through combination (conspiracy) and legislation.

The courts must be called to our aid, debts must be collected, bonds and mortgages foreclosed as rapidly as possible.

When, through the process of law, the common people have lost their homes,
they will be more tractable and easily governed through the influence of the strong arm
of the government applied to a central power of imperial wealth under the control of the leading financiers.

People without homes will not quarrel with their leaders. History repeats itself in regular cycles. This truth is well known among our principal men who are engaged in forming an imperialism of the world. While they are doing this, the people must be kept in a state of political antagonism.

The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished.

By controlling the politicians, the masters control the distractions. To those who truly believe there are differences in party politics, I say of course there are minor differences, but they are not fundamental. As all politicians answer to their contributors. And the manifesto continues to march on, bearing success after success for their masters. Nobody should have any illusions, the United States of America Corporation has essentially a one-party system and the ruling party is the Corporation party. The evidence is clearly in the campaign contributor lists, the campaign “advisors”, as well as the actions of the politicians in favor of those contributors.

Participating in our alleged two party system only gives the herd the impression of having a choice. But the agenda was set with both candidates long before the election, having a choice just adds to the appearance of “legitimacy“.

A society that has more justice is a society that needs less charity. And there is no justice in a nation that rewards the criminal elite as we do.

It has always been interesting to me how those who are abjectly partisan to one party or the other, always self profess some hidden higher knowledge, or greater self worth than all others.

They all are merely the servant of the servant, and part of the problem, not the solution, as the Bankers Manifesto clearly states.

“Texas...let me save you some time...I am a Republican. If you are a Republican, that makes two that visit the site that DB used to run. The rest are far left, like DB was, and voted for Obama. They will not admit their mistake so don't even try. They will call themselves Libertarian Socialist but let's not kid ourselves.”

As usual, Gobias is in left field, keep clutching your left wing Bible written by Saul Alinsky tightly to your bosom buddy…

Gobias has freely stated he supports;

Cross dressers (by virtue of Rudy support)

Hookers on their backs (exploitation thing)

“responsible weapon laws”, Gobies words, (gun banner by virtue of Rudy support)

Pro choice “so you could talk women out of abortion” (by virtue of Rudy support and his own admission)

Marrying your relatives (by virtue of Rudy support)

Adulterers (by virtue of Rudy support)

Same sex marriage (by virtue of Rudy support)

Fiscal irresponsibility, as long as it is Republicrat by pure virtue

And his endorsement of Socialist practices as revealed in many of his posts adds another interesting layer to the new dynamic that Gobie calls Conservative.

Gobias has even professed a need for a King.

My, how the bastions of conservatism have changed over the years…

As I have stated before, by the time a candidate gets to where you can vote for them they are already bought (both parties).

Work to change the system, that is where the problem lies. The elected pawns are exactly that, pawns, it is bigger than them. And you are nothing more than a servant of the servant Gobie.

"The question of tariff reform must be urged through the organization known as the Democratic Party, and the question of protection with the reciprocity must be forced to view through the Republican Party.

By thus dividing voters, we can get them to expend their energies in fighting over questions of no importance to us, except as teachers to the common herd. Thus, by discrete actions, we can secure all that has been so generously planned and successfully accomplished."

Did anyone find it odd that the Liberals Judy Gulliani and Mitt Romney did so well in the Conservative primaries…

I for one do not buy into the myth that Gobias is here to take care of our souls until Nietzche returns.

Any politician who says they can take care of you better than you for a nominal "fee" (tax), is a liar, and anyone who believes it is a fool who will soon be parted with his money. All politicians tell us they know what is best for us, but I know what is best for me and mine. Any person accepting the dribble from one party or the other that they will take care of them as their personal "extra special" is to lazy to take care of themselves.

Vote them all out, send one powerful shot across the bow of the pirate ship known as Congress, and cast down your straw man and become real men and women again…
