Neil Barofsky With Lauren Lyster: Tim Geithner Picked A Fight With The WRONG Former Federal Prosecutor

Lyster cuts straight to the very pair of TARP design features, which her MSM colleagues didn't seem to notice in "Bailout" despite being central to the book:

1. FRAUD (the new F-word, she half-way jokes)

2. Leverage

In other words, the designers of TARP took the two leading causes of the crisis in the first place and made them dominant features in TARP.

Democrats don't want to talk about this because it exposes the massive government they love so much as corrupt. Republicans don't want to talk about it because it exposes the massive banks they love so much as corrupt.

The two-party system mirrors the marriage of government and corporations that's taken place over recent decades, and frankly, it's difficult to see any way out of this fascist death spiral short of revolution.

Well, what a refreshing change of pace. This womans hair is parted straight and my smell o meter rates her a bed of roses. Barofsky skips the question as to who he could prosecute with a slam dunk case, but overall just really hits the ball square and lines it out. It is nice to see a journalist who doesn't speak in MSM sound bites and come across as an intelligent interviewer. Would be nice to see this in Congress.
