Meet The Campaign Aide With ZERO Budget Experience That Obama Nominated As Deputy Director Of OMB

This has nothing to do with politics; Republicans and Democrats are equal budgetary failures as decades of evidence demonstrates.  But wrong is wrong.  And this nomination is an embarrassment.  The most crucial time in our nation's budget history and Obama nominates a political hack with no budget experience sporting a degree from the University of Rochester and a Masters in public policy from George Washington.  She worked for John Kerry for 8 years before joining Obama's campaign.  She began her career as an advocate for public schools.

President Obama has settled on policy veteran Heather Higginbottom as the new deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget.

Higginbottom, a former aide to Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who also was policy director for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, currently serves as deputy director at the White House Domestic Policy Council.

“She understands the relationship between numbers on a ledger and the lives of real people,” Obama said when announcing her nomination for the OMB slot Friday, along with several other appointments.  “As we make cuts that are necessary to rein in the deficit, I want to make sure I’ve got Heather there so that we’re meeting our fundamental obligations to our people and to our economy as well.”

Don't worry about Congress. They are too busy sucking and mewling to react to any domestic or foreign threat. Let us STOP acting like dogs and affect the cure.
