I don't get it. Was the Bloomberg/Pittman case just an isolated situation, where only certain time-frames of docs were released?

If I'm on this committee during the Q'ly "Bernanke chats," I take the info from this case and hammer away for my 5 minutes. The $$$ numbers are staggering and I've never seen The Bernank challenged on this stuff.

As an aside, I watched a Frontline rerun of a financial crisis piece from a few years back, in which a former hedgie quant (Cal, Harvard, MIT) was interviewed. She says simply: "wall street, hedge funds and all of financial services in general is nothing more than a skim, pure and simple"...and that has not changed...

Why do people throw their $$$ at these crooks???
