KLEPTOCRACY RULES - William Black With Max Keiser On The Lack Of Criminal Prosecution For Corrupt Bankers

Video - Keiser with Bill Black - Aug. 17, 2011

It's been awhile since we've heard from Black, as he discusses the ongoing lack of prosecution for fraudulent banking activity.  Don't underestimate the role that Geithner has played in keeping prosecutions off the table, through meetings with Eric Holder and former NY Attorney General Andrew Cuomo.

Two stories from yesterday underscore the nature of the problem.

I went through that exact feeling when I learned the Attorney General really has little if no responsibilities. No doubt one will read that so much should be reported to the AG but the AG has no power to take action where it is needed. Banking is another story for me, However if it reads on par with so many other issues the AG's duties and responsibilities you will find the righting of what he is charged to do vs what he either elects to do or what is limited to do, I truly believe people would wonder why he is there at all?

I have wondered that myself. What the hell is Eric holder doing. He's not prosecuting Wall Street. He's holed up, hoping the fast & furious atf scandal goes away..
