Jon Stewart had former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich on his show last night, and questioned him about the decision not to testify in his corruption trial.
- "There is not a person in the world that I believe could get you to pipe down," Stewart said. "Here's what concerns me. I would like to see you as a Dickens character. I would like to see you as a victim. But you make it so hard."
Stewart added:
- "You're a guy who's the most adamant about his innocence that I have ever met. So, like I say, you're either the victim of a terrible persecution, or you're a sociopath. I want to believe that you're not a sociopath."

Astronomers have discovered a planetary system containing at least five planets that orbit a star called HD 10180, which is much like our own Sun.
The star is 127 light years away, in the southern constellation of Hydrus.
The researchers used the European Southern Observatory (Eso) to monitor light emitted from the system and identify and characterise the planets.
They say this is the "richest" system of exoplanets - planets outside our own Solar System - ever found.

Blago is a small time political boss who said and did things that most American political bosses would call bush league stuff. His problem is that he made the wrong people angry.
We've had Boss Tweed, Boss Ruef, the Pendergast machine, the Daley dynasty and a hundred other small and big time American dictators.
The problem is that our American political rhetoric doesn't match our American political reality and if you point out realities behind the hypocrisy facade then you are called cynical, crazy, a conspiracy theorist.....
From my perspective, Blago is simply not a good enough actor to play this venerable and well-established American political boss role.
He's probably too idealistic. He seems to think that he should tell people the truth. My God, Mark Twain could have told him not to do that.

Third, I don't even know Ron Paul so I have no idea if I would like him or not.
If you want to know if I like his ideas, I don't take his ideas seriously enough to find out what they really are. So no, it is almost certain that I don't like his ideas even though I've never bothered to find out what they are. If Kropotkin and Bakunin couldn't convince me to be an anarchist, I doubt if Ron Paul could.
You need to slow down, clear your mind, go into a quiet room and think. Then ask questions.
I might answer your questions seriously if I find the time.
