IT'S OFFICIAL - Elizabeth Warren To Run For Senate

Update - New video from Dr. Warren announcing her candidacy.

---

In his only Senate impact of any significance, Massachusetts' Scott Brown showed himself to be a lackey for the banks, so it's fitting that tomorrow, Dr. Elizabeth Warren, the leading consumer anti-bank advocate will formally announce her candidacy to challenge for Brown's seat in 2012.

Washington (CNN) - Former Obama administration official and consumer advocate Elizabeth Warren will announce her candidacy for the U.S. Senate on Wednesday, opening a race between Warren and Republican Sen. Scott Brown.

Kyle Sullivan, a Warren campaign advisor, confirmed the announcement to CNN.

“The pressures on middle class families are worse than ever, but it is the big corporations that get their way in Washington,” said Warren. “I want to change that. I will work my heart out to earn the trust of the people of Massachusetts.”

What this means for you, if Warren wins, is an opportunity to watch the Oklahoma pibull chastise Geithner on a more regular basis.

Watch this - Runs 1 minute.

GO WARREN!! I am undaunted. The door is open for Scott Brown, a bigger rat is tough to find. Riding on the Kennedy back, leaching Independents, he had one single job to do, and he SO BLEW IT!! Let's all send him a SINGLE silver dime, so he can GAS UP THE TRUCK AND GO HOME. GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH. We the People will keep going until we get it right!!

You can see here, yet another example of HOW RON PAUL HAS ALREADY WON!!

There are now REAL PEOPLE, hopefuls like Warren here to receive the torch now, knowing what they know as a result of Ron Paul's cue & their own self-education, AND knowing they have support of We The People! It still works!

Truly, it still works here in the USA, but do not hesitate! The sky does not have to fall, as "they' want you to believe, so you'll give up.

DO NOT GIVE UP, PEOPLE, PLEASE, I PROMISE. Just keep going until we get it right! The more support these advocates for the people get, the more they will continue on this course. They WANT to get this credit & SUPPORT from US. They want to feel good about what they are doing, just like we want to feel good about our votes! It's human nature, AND politicians' nature (believe it or not, they are human too).

This CAN work FOR US EVEN BETTER than it has worked against us, because nobody can fight Mother Nature! Human nature is a part of nature! BEHEAD ME if I'm wrong, and ROCK ON!

ALWAYS REMEMBER: "You never change more than 50%. You just have to change the people who are in leadership. And once their attitudes change, the whole country will shift."~RON PAUL

Like one good Senator will change decades of fraud and treason. We have a Super Congress now and this nation you see before you is in the middle of the air, feet running wildly trying to stay aloft. We begin the plummet now into the big dust cloud of the other Wylie Coyotes of histoy chasing the elusive Road Runner... "Poof!"

I'm not sure where Brooksley Born is nowadays...but she would make an excellent addition to Warren's staff. She warned us about this a long time ago. Was she ever right. (and for that she was summarily muzzled)

EW used to be a registered Republican. Too bad she's now a Stockholm Syndrome Obama Democrat. As many of you may know, Yves Smith has summarily pooh-poohed the idea of a Warren Senate run, advocating instead that she run for President in order to skewer Obama on just about every issue, but particularly the role he's played in the plutocratic destruction of the American middle class. Here's a teaser of what Yves wrote back in August:

"Her strength is that she is a Reagan-level Great Communicator. And unlike Obama, a patrician wannabe who sees Reagan as a role model, she taps into deeply rooted traditional American values, that of a just society. Obama, by contrast, exploited the intense frustration with eight years of misrule by Bush the Second, and his liberal posturing was merely a market positioning exercise, to further differentiate him from Brand Republican." [Yowza!]

How does Paul appeal to left-leaning voters without compromising? She'd make a great vp for Paul. Great insurance policy, too.

G Street--

I think about that issue all the time, a mixed ticket. Paul and Kaptur. Paul and Grayson. What have you.

But Warren just might be the answer. She DISEMBOWELED Timmay, as I recall, forcing that little bitch to admit that Treasury knew full fucking well who AIG's counterparties were before Tiny rode in all rode in from NY Fed on his pink pony with all that nonsense about having to honor those contracts--those Goldman contracts, as it turned out.

But even worse, Geithner put firms like Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse ahead of American taxpayers in the middle of depression. If there's ever been a greater act of treason in this country's history, I'd sure as shit like to know what it was.

Yeah. I'm all for Elizabeth Warren leading this lost nation from the highest possible level.

Cheyenne, I was thinking the same thing this morning. Rand Paul would be even better -- he is a SLICK politician, but totally his dad's boy when it comes to beliefs.

Better yet would be Col. Larry Wilkerson, Colin Powell's former chief of staff. He's southern, he's conservative, he's articulate and he talks in terms that Bubba and Boobus find attractive. He HATES Geithner and Paulson just as much as he does Cheney and Obama. Did I mention he's conservative? The Israel lobby would try to tear him apart, but he's fearless. Check out his 5-part interview with "The Real News." Awesome stuff.

Dr. P--

Wilkerson sounds like my kind of guy. I like colonels, having descended from a long line of them. Those are the guys that make shit happen. Remember Kurtz from Apocalypse Now? The dude who got into trouble for taking matters into his hands? Yeah, him: Colonel Walter E. Kurtz.

I'll check that link, for which I thank you in advance.

Debate: Scott Brown vs. Elizabeth Warren

http://www.boston.com/politicalintelligence/2012/09/20/live-blog-first-debate-between-senator-scott-brown-and-challenger-elizabeth-warren/fKJ1cbXDuUQ0uAeHbYrARJ/story.html

While this is still live at time of this post, Brown absolutely demolishes Warren... Until the foreign policy ass kissing starts.

Brown still wins hands down but the foreign policy issue re: mid east really needs to be addressed.

("Debate: Scott Brown vs. Elizabeth Warren")

boston.com Poll put Warren at 54.76% and Brown at 37.36% on who had the stronger performance?

Looked more like a dead even draw to me. Although most of the time it seemed she was getting to him a lot more then he was getting to her. He is an experienced political speaker and she obviously is not, that was the main thing in his favor. She is extremely intelligent and passionate in her desire to help the american middle class and it shows. I think the next debates are going to be very interesting.
