By the way, this is not the first time Palin has stood up for Ron Paul in the last few weeks. Granted, she has been maligned often on this site for her support of TARP, but I give her credit for her honesty regarding Paul and his passionate supporters. In all honesty, a 3rd place showing is not what Paul supporters had hoped for, but as you will see in the next story (coming soon on the front page), there was a bit of a conspiracy on the part of the Iowa GOP apparatus to make sure that Paul did not win tonight.
