From CNBC earlier today on Hostess:

Twinkies union issues threat.

"We are here to work with credible bidders to get started right away with a great work-force; on the other hand, if bidders don't want to work with us (and re-hire Hostess employees), the union will ask the AFL-CIO to put any Hostess product on its 'boycott product' list."

Don't know if any of you have ever driven a Mack truck. In a couple of iterations of blue collardom, I was lucky enough to drive them. This was before Volvo became involved. You just could not kill them. Perhaps the best plain Jane no frills beast of a truck there ever was. They have a plant in Hagerstown which is over the mountain where Camp David is located. Just saying if you ever get the chance.
