Housing Happiness

I didn't know how to title this.  It will make sense once you see it working.  The green bar represents income, the orange bars represent housing prices in selected cities.  The graph starts to dance.  Music is some kind of catchy jazz number with a sultry-throated chanteuse.  Very well done.  The creator is Nick Gogerty

I love how all of the cities but Detroit and Cleveland, as of July 1, 2009 referenced at the end of this video, are still at home prices beyond median household incomes. There is still a ton of air to deflate and Bernanke and Geithner's lips have got to be getting sore by now. :p

What a shocker, it looks so much worse when you see this video, instead of just reading the numbers! At least housing prices are finally dropping to a sustainable level, as the market will find the bottom. Government intervention has not and will not have any effect on housing prices.

It looks like this is based on the largest cities and yet I live in Houston which of course is larger than almost all the cities listed.

All very strange indeed.
