I would like to point out 2 of this weeks links:

The MEOR document and Carbon Sequestration. The best recovery from any oil field is about 1/2 to 1/3 of what is there. MEOR allows even higher recovery rates and may be able to change the characteristics of the oil/gas itself. This process has allowed dry wells to become productive once again.

If you read how MEOR is done (MEOR Document) and then read how carbon sequestration works, you will get a good idea of what the possibilities are. I do plan an article in the near future focused on this for educational purposes.

In 2000 Germany set a goal to Produce 20% of their energy needs using clean/renewable energy and primarily by Solar Collection. When I think of Germany I do not think of "Sunny Germany" because it isn't known for this. Yet they met their goal of 20%. They have set a New Goal of reaching 80% by 2050. If they are able to maintain the rate of clean energy growth they have already reached they will succeed. Here is the link to the Article:

What I find amazing is what seems to be nothing less than an Obsessive Effort to completely undermine any and every source of Clean Energy that Screams Out in the Sheer Volume of this and in the Tone of the Articles Titles. I have no way of knowing who is bankrolling this endeavor so it is at this point pure speculation on my part to wonder how much of this Effort is Directly, or Indirectly, Funded by Big Energy including Big Oil, Big Coal, Big Natural Gas?
The Author could answer some of my questions by stating his viewpoint on Climate Change. Does the Author Believe the 97.5% of 3000 Highly Educated Climate Scientists who State that Mankind Caused Climate Change is Absolutely Real or does the Author Believe Politicians who receive enormous sums of money from Big Oil, Big Coal, and all other Big Energy, in the Form and Manner of "Campaign Funds" and the far greater variety of Methods of Compensation provided by the Lobbyists for Big Energy in some or all of the wide variety of ways this "Legal" Bribery is done? I cannot also avoid wondering how much "Not Legal" Bribery goes on when it comes to Big Energy Fossil Fuels as many Reasonable People do.

New evidence supports premise that Earth produces endless supply

A study published in Science Magazine today presents new evidence supporting the abiotic theory for the origin of oil, which asserts oil is a natural product the Earth generates constantly rather than a “fossil fuel” derived from decaying ancient forests and dead dinosaurs...

...The study also confirmed a major argument of Cornell University physicist Thomas Gold, who argued in his book “The Deep Hot Biosphere: The Myth of Fossil Fuels” that micro-organisms found in oil might have come from the mantle of the earth where, absent photosynthesis, the micro-organisms feed on hydrocarbons arising from the earth’s mantle in the dark depths of the ocean floors.

Affirming this point, Proskurowski concluded the article by noting, “Hydrocarbon production by FTT could be a common means for producing precursors of life-essential building blocks in ocean-floor environments or wherever warm ultramafic rocks are in contact with water.”

Finding abiotic hydrocarbons in the Lost City sea vent fluids is the second discovery in recent years adding weight to the abiotic theory of the origin of oil.

As WND reported in 2005, a NASA probe to Titan, the giant moon of Saturn, discovered abundant Carbon-13 methane that the agency declared to be abiotic in origin.
