Granholm's Wacky DNC Speech: 'Rev Up Your Engines, Obama's GM Bailout Saved America'

This is pretty bizarre.

Former Michigan governor Jennifer Granholm gets excited.

First mistake, the media focused on a delegate holding a Ford sign during the speech. Ford was not bailed out by taxpayers, and doesn't owe the treasury $27 billion, as GM does.

Ford is not using taxpayer funds to pay $600 million to sponsor the Manchester United Football Club as GM is doing.

Furthermore, Ford did not invoke the image of Evel Knievel in a truly disgusting, nationally-placed Thanksgiving TV commercial that reeked of sacrilege and corporate despair.

And here's a timely rebuttal to Granholm:

The Democrats' GM Bailout Fiction

Analysis: Returning Congress faces big tasks, likely to do little

[snip]

One of the most unpopular and unproductive Congresses in modern history returns on Monday from a five-week recess, facing a crush of big tasks, few of which will likely get done.

I am going to take my own bailout now!

Glad the site difficulties are remedied, DB.

This woman should have her own Sunday program. She could save a few souls as well as the auto industry. Was wondering about the site as well. What after your remarks on Waco and all that thought perhaps it was too soon.

Man, she misses Hollywood. Wonder if her casting calls went like this? And she graduated Harvard law with honors? Boggles...

As a Michigan resident, I feel qualified to ask:

What happened to that huge facial wart she had all during her 4 years as governor?
Must've weighed about 2 pounds.

Maybe the wart migrated south to become an anal wart. Or perhaps to Maryland where it now resides in the Governor's Mansion in Annapolis.
