Daily Bail Radio Appearance: Stephen Friedman Gets Annihilated -- Where Is The SEC?
Thanks to SNK, your humble writer appeared Sunday night on Sense on Cents with Larry Doyle broadcast on Blog Talk Radio. We discussed the Massachusetts Senate race, the Federal Reserve and HR 1207, and the AIG, Geithner, Stephen Friedman scandal.
A broadcast of the complete show is inside.
The full clip is embedded (and it begins playing automatically -- just press 'stop'); I have cut out a short portion focused on Friedman and Goldman Sachs which you can find HERE.
The full broadcast was 1 hour; though you can skip through the audio easily. Larry's introduction runs the first 6 minutes or so.
Youtube video added.

You are a little too gracious to me, because all I did was make one tiny little request to Larry Doyle, but YOU GUYS are the ones with 100% TOP NOTCH CONTENT!!
DB, the scope, depth, and detail of your knowledge is TRULY AND SOLIDLY EXCEPTIONAL, you know that? Maybe you can't see that from inside your own head (LOL), but it was quite obvious to us listeners. It was an awesome show!! You guys had great back and forth, and we could tell you could've talked another couple of hours--you were on such a roll.
Hey there--since you did such an amazing job on this, I'm gonna try and get you booked on the Dylan Ratigan show. Do ya' think I'm kidding? Well...DO YA'??
;)
I will have to try it from work tomorrow.
Congrats.
During the Robber Baron period it reached ridiculous heights.
Take a look at how Rockefeller et. al. acquired Anaconda Copper Company:

Basically, we need more regulators but America is still a free-for-all, dog-eat-dog, social Darwinist society where getting rich is the most popular game in town. As long as the 'best and brightest' continue to participate in the Big Financial Circus, in whatever form it takes, this stuff will continue to happen. The worst thing that will happen to the biggest criminals will be to spend a few years in a jail that looks more like a country club than a jail.
Maybe we will look back at the Bernie Madoff case as a turning point. I hope so.
