Is it called "sequester" in America so that Americans don't realize the country is in the same shit as Spain,Greece,Italy ,Ireland etc.?
Because we all know its Austerity cuts just like Spain,Greece,Italy ,Ireland etc.

The bailed out banks, otherwise known as the U.S. government, resort to vague terms like "sequester" in an effort to hide reality, which is that the so-called sequester cuts are the direct consequence of the ongoing bailout.

I might have mentioned this before on this site, but two things need to be said.

1) A budget has NOTHING to do with the economic and/or financial health of a city, state or country. It is nothing more than a target. A guess. That's it.
2) There is no debt ceiling, and there never has been a debt ceiling. A restriction that somebody places on themselves, and can remove themselves, is no restriction at all. How many times have these slimy crooks voted to raise this phony "ceiling," anyway?

This whole thing is so phony, you can smell it from 10 miles UPWIND.
