BILL MAHER: Doesn't anyone care that this is the new normal? I guess not, because gun nuts don't care, and neither do liberals. When Bush did warrantless wiretapping, 'Oh, he was wiping his ass with the Constitution.' But when Obama does it, 'Oh, well, whatever helps Jessica Chastain find bin Laden. We're good with that.'

Both parties compete mightily to appear to be the greater champion of our freedoms, but the only thing that still has bipartisan support in Washington is not giving a shit about privacy. And when you talk to the NRA types, as I like to do down at my local [unintelligible] -- they actually believe that what protects their rights isn't laws, or courts, is that's they have a gun. They think that's what keeps the government from going too far. Without guns, Obama would become emperor and force everyone to gay marry, but he can't because a guy in Kentucky named Skeeter has a .22. 

Except that, while you guys were buying guns to protect your other guns, sitting up on the porch there, waiting for Obama's negro army to come confiscate your weapons and go all Django Unchained on your ass, that's when we lost all the stuff in the Bill of Rights about trials and juries and warrants. You see, the Redcoats, they never wanted your gun, they wanted your liberty. And that's why the Founding Fathers said you could have the gun.  And now, the only right we have left is the guns and nothing left to use the guns to protect.  We're like a strip club with a million bouncers and no strippers.

but he is right about this.

once we accepted reporting of 10 k or more by banks, who are now nothing but front ends for prosecutors...never mind phony ("fiat") money...which at best does nothing but create huge and systemic, permanent, misallocation of capital...at best (at worst, it gives "money" to cretins who give it to their favorite supporters.....where does anyone think all that housing money and "green energy" money comes from, anyway?...it is manufactured to buy votes)...........we were history as citizens.

even egyptians, as misguided as so many of them are, actually appear to have *read* the constitution their government proposed, never mind got into the streets by the thousands to make their points.

they make us look like what we are......obese political creatures who not only cannot even waddle, but who don't even see the value in doing so.

The anti gun activist are blind to the fact that most people will not give up their weapons...as a matter of fact, they will turn on anyone attempting to do so. The guberment likes poles...how about a pole that questions whether citizens will fire on the guberment if a gun grab is attempted, or a pole asking if troops will turn on troops attempting to kill innocent civilians with guns. Or better yet, a pole of people who believe a gun grab will turn into a bloody insurrection? Truth is, the likes of Feinstein and her ilk rush blindly into their zeal without consideration of the consequences which are evident in the failed states in which they reside. The shortsightedness and reckless abandon that flows from their lips is the most irresponsible and dangerous kind of treason ever afforded onto this nation. Their ideological thinking a gun grab will make the nation a safer place is proof positive of the defective and illogical line of thoughtlessness and disregard for others. Just remember, once you start it, you can't stop it. The country, where many gun owners reside, feed the city where many gun grabbers live. Don't expect to eat much in the city once you bite the country hand that is feeding you.
