Bill Black Slams Bartiromo Over Goldman Non-Prosecution: "FBI Agents Were Never Even Assigned To Investigate The Case! Was A Grand Jury Even Convened?"

So let me get this straight.  The Goldman Sachs Dept. of Justice failed to seriously investigate massive financial fraud at Goldman Sachs.

Sounds about right.

William Black decimates CNBC's money-honey.

"FBI agents were never even assigned to investigate the case.  Was a Grand Jury even convened?"

Wow.  Watch this all the way to the end, as Maria tries to shut down Black and mistakenly calls the DOJ 'the defense department', not referring to the military but rather a department of justice filled with criminal defense attorneys instead of prosecutors.  She went to the core of the issue at Eric Holder's DOJ aka Dept. of Criminal Defense Attorneys Masquerading as Prosecutors, and didn't even realize it.

This mis-step into the Orwellian zone is both frightening and sickening.

The New York State Department of Financial Services Extorts 340 million from Standard Chartered.
Would have been more but nobody committed any crimes, at least none they have to admit or go to jail for.

Lately there's been lots of fines levied by regulators for crimes nobody admits to or goes to jail for. Kind of like mob payoffs for services rendered. And now it's pretty obvious the Justice Department has become the Mouthpiece for the criminal financial industry and other corrupt possibly criminal special interests.

Sounds like the Costa Nostra Ten Commandments have replaced the U.S. Constitution and Rule Of Law in state and federal government.

People should have waked up by now to the fact that the people in DC are part of a federal corporation/criminal syndicate that does not "represent" them AT ALL. You have a criminal-in-chief in the Oral Orifice that nobody knows squat about, and he's spent millions of dollars to hide everything about his past. You have that shit-stain Biden next to him, and he is a self-proclaimed Zionist. The crooks in CONgress and the completely misnamed DoJ prosecute people for "insider information" (remember Martha?), while studies have shown that people in CONgress have portfolios that outperform the market by wide margins, and even outdo those of professional stock brokers. Remember Hitlary and her cattle futures? Think that they don't have "insider information?"

The people of this country owe these Hell-bound, treasonous scum neither allegiance, obedience nor money. Fuck all of them. Anybody who would go through what these people do, for the amount of time that they do it, and spend the money they spend to get into these positions, are the LAST people on Earth who should be allowed within 1,000 miles of any position of power.

All of you stooges out there who participate in these phony elections, thanks for nothing. Assholes.

Here is a fantastic interview of William Black by Greg Hunter:

http://usawatchdog.com/one-on-one-with-professor-william-black/

At the 2:15 mark, Black discusses his prosecution record against the most elite financial criminals in the S&L crisis. His 90% conviction rate is prima facie (if not conclusive) evidence that Sage is correct about the current state of affairs (despite the fact that the ongoing financial crisis DWARFS the S&L crisis by 100-1): "the Justice Department has become the Mouthpiece for the criminal financial industry and other corrupt possibly criminal special interests."

Moreover, Black's explanation at 7:25 of what too-big-to-fail is really all about is the best one I've ever heard.

Here is what really bothers me about this piece. The news readers have hair that is not parted straight. This has been going on for quite sometime now, even before 2008. If these readers want to be taken seriously perhaps they should come on TV without looking so disheveled, that they look as if they have fallen out of bed. They have very beautiful lips though. Very mesmerizing.

Notice that Bethany relies on nothing but the same old insipid talking points we hear Wall Street apologists bleating all the time: The behavior of bankers may have been despicable and unethical, but it's not criminal. Check. It was the borrowers who defrauded the banks to get houses? Check.

The one time Bethany went off her Wall Street-drafted script and challenged Black on the facts (contending that Goldman didn't originate loans), he pounded her into the sand.

But back to the fraudulent borrower theory. The FBI itself said in 2005 that 80% of fraudulent mortgages involve corruption and collusion within the financial institutions. That implies that 20% of fraudulent loans involved fraud by borrowers. I've thought about this stat for awhile now, and I just don't see how it can be true given the black letter elements of fraud, which are basically these:

(1) a misrepesentation
(2) of material fact
(3) intended to deceive another party and
(4) reasonably relied on by that other party
(5) to the other party's detriment.

Given that banks are experienced, sophisticated lending institutions, I just don't see how they could EVER make out a case for fraud given the requirement of REASONBLE reliance (4).

If I dupe you into buying the a pile of dogshit based on my representation that it's a Rolex, your case for fraud against me is toast from the get-go since no one in their right mind would confuse excrement with a jeweled time piece.

So it is with the banks. A borrower across the table might CLAIM to make $400,000 as a Wal-Mart greeter, but a bank--if it's acting reasonably in an arms length lending transaction--is going to check out the claim against the maassive borrower data set it has access to, not to mention checking out the story with the putative employer.

While I'm not saying that it's impossible for someone to defraud a bank like that, I am saying that there is NO WAY ON EARTH that borrowers accounted for one-fifth of all fraudulent loans, given (1) the huge mortgage lending volume in the 2000's, (2) the rampant fraud on the lenders' side of the table, and (3) the comparative ease with which lending fraud can be perpetrated.

If anyone can explain how the 20% figure is supported by empirical data, or even remotely possible in the first place, I'm all ears...

Ahem. the U.S. is being economically and comprehensively overthrown by social groups domestic to the U.S. but with loyalty to the English Crown. This after 235 years of coordination. I can see that William Black, who I have a great deal of respect for with his past prosecution of banker evil doers, has never been violently mugged before. Obama is the focal point of a segment of the manifold attack emanating from The City of London in particular, and secondary trolls here stateside. He is strong arm robbing the U.S. in its entirety. His handlers are running the show.

Bill is right, We The People need to start prosecuting all these clowns somewhere! Why not start with Goldman, they are the suppose to be the top firm on Wall St. If all the other banksters see them go down for fraud, it may limit their own fraudulent activities. Regardless of what those two paid oligarch slaves say, they are just good to look at and nothing more. Bill slapped them both around & those 2 donkeys had nothing of real value to say except what they are told to say. All the crooked bankster oligarchs responsible should be punished along with all government officials that enabled them. If their punishment for bank fraud was public hanging, there would be much less of it.

Despite the firm losing $money$ on those bad investments, the brokers and executives received very large salaries & bonuses regardless of the risk & outcome. They all got paid to ensure they have a better chance to end up on the 1% side of the fence during the destruction of America & its redistribution of wealth! Basically owning a bank in America gives you a license to rob the public. The American Ponzi Scheme (The Banksters, FED & IRS) makes Madoff look like a petty thief that stole a pack of gum in comparison. Then we get the media depicting Obongo The Clown as this savior that lies to the public, telling us what we want to hear, yet doing the opposite while laughing all the way to the bank. The system is on the brink of failure & they all know that when it does, We The People are coming to get those responsible to ensure justice is served!

WAKE UP AMERICA!!!

WE THE PEOPLE MUST BE UNITED AS 1
PROTEST ALL WARS
AUDIT THE FED
IMPEACH MOST POLITICAL LEADERS
AUDIT ALL POLITICIANS (OLIGARCHICAL BACKING)
REINSTATE THE CONSTITUTION & BILL OF RIGHTS

THE ONLY POSSIBLE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE THAT CAN GET US BACK ON TRACK THROUGH A REAL AUSTERITY PLAN & RESTORE AMERICA IS IGNORED BY THE OLIGARCHICAL PUPPETS IN THE MAIN STREAM MEDIA. MORE IMPORTANTLY THE GOP FRAUDULENTLY IS TRYING TO PREVENT THE REAL CHOICE OF WE THE PEOPLE TO BE HEARD & THAT MAN IS:

DR. RON PAUL (REVOLUTION)!!!

HE WOULD ERASE THE LAST 30-50 YEARS OF DESTRUCTION OF AMERICA & THE CONSTITUTION THAT THE OLIGARCHS ACCOMPLISHED DURING ONE TERM!!!

NOW THAT WOULD BE REAL CHANGE & REAL HOPE! NOT A CLOWN THAT DESTROYS & LIES TO THE ONES WHO EMPOWERED HIM, HELPING THE OLIGARCHS RULE THE WORLD & ENSLAVE WE THE PEOPLE!!!

Goldman Sachs campaign contributions and support for Obama have returned dividends with a very high ROI. Obama alone has control over his executive branch which include the DOJ and FBI. Failure to prosecute is a gross miscarriage of justice and proves the fascist corporatism of Obama. No blame can be placed on Congress for Obama's own failure to investigate and prosecute the monstrous crimes of the banksters.
Aug 19, 2012 at 1:47 AM | Unregistered CommenterAllen Heart
Allen Heart, Congress legislates the laws being used to loot the stock market and banks. CONGRESS is as responsible as anybody. Obummer is NOT obligated to aid and abet in the looting. Quite to the contrary, his job is to plug the leaks in the nation's armor, being Chief Executive and Commander in Chief. But he surely is aiding and abetting in the looting and other attacks(For example, the FULL PARDON for BP and Halliburton blowing out the oil well destroying the Gulf of Mexico, HAARP, and other attacks).
Congress is sucking and mewling for their own gravy trains at the expense of patriotic Americans and foreigners who invest in specific enterprises or mutual funds where the actual investments are not usually known to the investor. For about two years, the majority of stock trades are done utilizing 'high-velocity trading' where millions of shares are transacted in a single second. This is the most effective way, outside of plain theft, of stealing cash value and replacing it with useless scrip. Add the derivative markets and it becomes evident that a hanging scaffold needs to be built. It is almost legal to throw pieces of broken concrete at congress men, and the throwers' aims will be true.
The justice department has deserted America on the field of battle, as far as I can tell. Way too much foreign influence was hiding there in the closet to swat away all the cockroaches. Freemasons, Knights of Malta, Knights Templars, Jesuits, The Skull and Bones Society, the CIA, top FBI officials, Rhodes Scholars, and Teutonic Knights all seek the overthrow of the American government and its resorption into Britannia and the Vatican. 9-11 was the kick-off date. This can not be allowed to happen. They are a minority and remained hidden until coming out if the closet and timing the shooting of the U.S.A. in the back when it would have the greatest effect. Many if not most of the adherents of these groups, like my own father, joined up for a few years because they were the only buffet table in town with fresh shrimp and salmon. The weirdness of the group made papa split. It was nice for awhile.

The DHS and all agencies in the dark about patriotism but in the know of criminality are preparing for 'what' they don't know. The thieving is obvious and congress made it 'permissible' but not legal. Bush41-Obummer have ALL signed on for looting America. This does NOT make the looting legal. It merely establishes that these past presidents and majorities of congress have voted repeatedly to defraud and disenfranchise the tax paying, American voters. This can be a hanging offense. I, for one, am bored to tears by the venality and course backstabbing, murdering, and genocide of these pigs. The timing of the coordination was essential to provide the combined effort as one threat. Like a flock of sparrows gathering on the fence to scare off the chickens from the grain, one by one. or sharks or dolphins racing through a school of small fish to get them to panic and bunch up for safety, yielding bigger bites from the school. Think, you bastards. The nation took 250 years to provide all of this now being destroyed by pirates with computers instead of cutlasses. Defend yourselves. I know you don't want to dig ditches. Queen lizard's bunch are morons, but they have the drop on you. Forget Israel for the time being. First, The City of London.

Howard, the point of the article is the inaction of the DOJ under Obama. I want this point to drive home the truth about Obama and his record. No more apologizing for an unwieldy and corrupt Congress. THIS action was on his own, no Congress to blame for Obama's order to let the financial criminals free to continue their crimes. Congress is guilty of many things, but don't confuse the issue by a rant that dulls the sharpness of this bright and shiny fact: Obama and Obama alone is responsible for failing to investigate Big Money
.
In addition, NEVER, EVER take your eyes off Israel. Israelis and Israeli dual citizens would love to deflect our attention and they do it all the time. We MUST keep our awareness sharp and crisp by watching ALL the players. In fact, they depend on the people's inability to hold more than a few thoughts at a time.
Aug 19, 2012 at 9:52 PM | Unregistered CommenterAllen Heart
Point taken. The Obummer did not create this department of justice, and congress is shirking its duty by letting Obummer play. The SEC/FTC enforcers caught in their cj predicament during Bush43 were kept on by the Obummer. OBVIOUSLY Eric Holder was hired to hold the bag so Bush41 could bail out of 'Fast and Furious' which he has been 'big dog' in since as far back as 1952 or further.
Israel's boss is the Rothschilds and The British Crown. Netanyahu does not wipe his arse without their permission. Israel is a financial asset and grand board game to the English Crown and a Holy Land for those seeking an emotional bailout of some kind. The governments of England, Netherlands, and Belgium are 10xGDP in debt and are just slightly more desperate than the Rothschild's bank. Whose ponzi scheme is coming to a close, God willing. To Hell with the masters of war. The reasons for the FBI being so bloody corrupt go way past Obummer, back 40 years and more.

The democrats and republicans have maintained the consistent use of corrupted voting machines for over 11 years. Lawless conduct being carried out since their initial use for the 2000 election is emanating from members of both parties in a cooperative rapine and pillage of the American public and the rest of the world presently being bombed by the swine in control.

Isolating and blaming Obummer, exclusively, is the pot calling the kettle 'black' in a most naive or corrupt context. Take your pick. Congress should have impeached Obummer long ago, but their masters at the CFR and the Rothschilds' AP and Reuters are the subjects of congressional industrial strength mewling and table dancing that precludes any sense of responsibility along these lines. Congress has a proscribed job that they are ignoring. and they are ignoring all crimes by any government official and in PARTICULAR, the interest rate manipulations from the realm of finance contained in the LIBOR scandal. Blame Obama? Why? That is like beating your dog because you got fired for drinking on the job. Congressional FAIL.

FBI pursuing fewer white-collar crime cases, group finds

http://www.sacbee.com/2013/09/24/5764797/fbi-pursuing-fewer-white-collar.html

The FBI has recommended only 2,001 white-collar cases for criminal prosecution so far this fiscal year, on pace for a nearly 7 percent drop from last year, according to a report Tuesday by a research group affiliated with Syracuse University.
It would be one of the lowest years on record and would extend a years-long trend, according to government data obtained by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse, or TRAC.

Typically, the FBI investigates potential wrongdoing and recommends cases to the Justice Department, where federal prosecutors make final decisions about whether to file cases.

Despite concerns about widespread wrongdoing on Wall Street, the number of white-collar prosecutions recommended by the FBI has plummeted 45.2 percent in the past decade, according to government data obtained by TRAC.
