America Makes The World Fat, Super-Hero Michelle Obama Fights Back - Next Media Animation

Super-hero Michelle battles Ronald McDonald, Burger King, Colonel Sanders and the lobby for corn subsidies.  This is classic.

Video - NMA - Michelle Obama fights obesity in America

First Lady Michelle Obama’s anti-obesity campaign, Let’s Move, is one year old this week. She has already convinced Walmart to lower prices on fruit and vegetables and is in talks with the National Restaurant Association to downsize portions. But the real problem is corn subsidies, which make it cheaper to produce everything from beef to Coca Cola. Can Michelle Obama kill this sacred cow?

According to a recent study in The Lancet, the world is getting fatter and America is leading the way by exporting its bad eating habits to the rest of the world. Global obesity has doubled since 1980.

WASHINGTON – House Speaker John Boehner says Americans have a right to think what they want to think, even when they're wrong about President Barack Obama's citizenship and his religion.

Some people believe that Obama, a native of Hawaii, was actually born outside the U.S. or in some other way is not a natural-born citizen eligible to be president. There is also a persistent belief among some that Obama, a Christian, is actually a Muslim.

When the host of NBC's "Meet the Press" asked Boehner whether he, as speaker of the House, had a responsibility to "stand up to that kind of ignorance," Boehner told David Gregory: "It's not my job to tell the American people what to think. Our job in Washington is to listen to the American people."

Fructose kills more people each year than tobacco and alcohol combined. Let's start by instructing the EPA or the DEA to ban the manufacture and sale of fructose.

I never knew the King was using the crown to conceal his baldness until now. Interesting.

As for Boehner's "It's not my job to tell the American people what to think. Our job in Washington is to listen to the American people," what a transparent cop-out. What was his job when he told the American people to piss up a rope by voting for the bailout twice in 2008? Wonder what his answer is for that?
