DB, the only thing this clip proves is Norway is boring.

(Sorry man, I just couldn't resist)

true...as well it shows the power of ron paul's message...i think it's pretty bizarre that they were having a rally where 5,000 people were expected at night, in the cold...and it was for...

US Congressman Ron Paul...

and Ron Paul was not in Norway...

With all due respect, campaigning for Dr Paul in Norway makes about as little sense as giving Barack Husseien Obankster the Peace Prize.

I'm Norwegian and I was actually there. I saw the banner and no it was not a rally for Ron Paul, it was a rally against the US wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. And for those of you who don't remember yesterday: it makes perfect sense. Ron Paul voted against the wars, and those wars have forced Norway to spend billions of dollars on a war in Afghanistan, taken away _our_ civil liberties too, and corrupted our nations laws with "anti-terrorist" amendments.

Thanks for that explanation, Norwegian. That does make sense. I apologize for the wisecrack; I was joking.

Having your civil liberties taken away in the name of security is no laughing matter. As Benjamin Franklin said (paraphrase) "Those who trade security for liberty deserve neither".

Thanks Mark, no offense was taken, I just wanted to show how it could make a bit of sense all the same.

I love the Ben Franklin quote, it has been a favourite of mine for years. Good to see that others embrace it too!

So basically what you're saying is that despite that fact that Norway is an 'independant' and 'autonomous' nation, its citizens STILL couldn't manage to avoid acting as subservient LACKEYS of US foreign policy?

New videos to watch that will explain the title of this post. In this first video, Ron Paul is on Fox News battling with brain-dead Republican ghouls who continue to defend the Bush/Obama wars.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1tFvvjgMjQ&feature=player_embedded#

Ron Paul shits on Michael Moore, Republicans & Democrats
Again, he speaks the truth when we blames both Democrats and Republicans for all of these disasters. The corrupt politicians are protecting their buddies in the Insurance companies, Drug companies, Military Contractors, Arms Dealers and other merchants of death and destruction. Michael Moore wants to keep this violent cartel in place and then "hopes" that the right folks will magically appear (get elected) to run it better. Ron Paul is the realist who knows you have to smash this racket, shut them down, send them home and let "We the People" (aka The Free Market) take care of everything through non-violence, cooperation, free exchange and commerce.

Bush Crime Family music Video by CTRAFFIK
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axFMfieTdZs&feature=player_embedded

Ron Paul recently put the cowardly-Democrats in their place by calling them out on being the hypocrites that they are. During the Bush Crime Family years they were all up in arms about the war in Iraq and they voted against Bush's spending bills. Now that the new emperor is in Rome (Washington D.C.) they bend over backwards to endorse these murderous wars.

Sure I do.

On the one hand you have the U.S. Federal government (aka Goldman Sachs) which basically controls much of the worldwide economy thanks to its irrepressible emission of fraudulent derivative securities backed by NOTHING and on the other hand you have the crappy little nations like Norway which exist basically just to bend over and take it up the ass from their American Masters whenever necessary , up to & including providing soldiers for illegal foreign invasions or awarding "Peace Prizes" to war-mongering assholes.

"Crappy little nations", lol. What do you need freedom for, what kind of freedom do you fight for if you have such serious disdain for ordinary people and their nations? I'll tell you what, in our crappy little nation, like Sweden, Denmark and Finland too, we have a history of socialist governments, so our healthcare is free, our colleges and universities are free in that everyone gets a loan if they want to go, we are closer to our representatives (local government) we have more openness and better insight into what our government and representatives do. Our cops dont carry guns to murder us "by accident" or "in self defence", We managed to stay out of the Iraq war, we supported the Sandinistas in Nicaragua, We were actually the once who demanded that the Bank for International Settlements the BIS, the mother of all central banks, be dismantled after the second world war, and we managed to get it through, exept your moron president Truman and the British overturned that after Roosevelt was dead, and yes we tried to make Obamas wars extremely embarrassing for him by giving him the peace price. Boy wont he look the fool all the while he's trying to defend more money for wars or start any new ones. So yeah, I'm pretty proud of this "crappy" nation and our nordic brothers! Put that in your pipe and smoke it! ;)

Great post Norwegian! You also have Sissel, very hot.

I am a big fan of Scandinavia. I like that Denmark only has one word for good. I like that Sweden is the home of Tina Nordstrom. I like that you all don't like Finland? Why is that? Is it because they act like Russians and eat pickled herring? I like how you all still don't trust Germany. Smart. I like how you are keeping the sport of badminton alive and well. I like how you drink a lot of beer and not the weak piss we have here in the States. I like how the Danish Tourist board advertises their loose women. I like how the Swedish jails are run like country clubs. I like Swedish meatballs over any other meatball.

Oh, and I like how Dailybail and his pals get all upset at your system. Keep in mind that they think Ron Paul is exciting and would make a great leader of the free world.

I would however like to point out that the population of Scandinavia is about the same as New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Your cops and people don’t have a lot of guns but the Scandinavian countries have some of the highest rates of suicide and high alcoholism rates. Swedish and Danish troops have been sent to Afghanistan (and Iraq for the Danes), don’t know why you think you have avoided the war on terrorism. Your countries have depended on immigrant labor from poor Islamic countries and you are now paying the price and having to kick them out. Your countries also depend on tourism to make ends meet, nothing wrong with that but good for such small economies. Norway has got a shit load of oil, almost $7,000 worth a year per person. Sweden has a lot of land and natural resources.

The United States is gigantic melting pot of retards. I think that the Scandinavian countries are more willing to pay high taxes because they like and look like and sound like and act like who gets their tax and welfare money. I don’t think you would be so happy to pay high taxes if a lot of it went to poor Germans and crazy Russians. You have not been too excited to join the European Union or Eastern Bloc welfare cases.

You are correct that Obama is an ass, a fraud, and a failure. Give it to Obama, he likes to smoke it.

You're absolutely right about almost ALL of the above of course. I was just chiding you jokingly because it pisses me off that great countries like Norway don't tell the U.S. to go fuck itself often enough for my taste. For example, you correctly mention that Norway managed to stay out of Iraq but it DID send troops to Afghanistan. It also meddled inexplicably in Nicaragua, ostensibly to please its American LoveMaster.

Lastly, trying to 'embarass' Obankster by giving him a Nobel Peace Prize is like trying to embarass Adolf Hitler by giving him Poland.

I thought you might be RLR ;)= , I just wanted to "smoke you out" ;)
Yes, Obankster named good old eugenicist slash -"we need another pearl harbour"- slash "we must occupy eurasia"-Zbiggy Brzezinzky as his very close "friend" and mentor. Nice hitler analogy, But still, don't you think it will be just a tad embarrassing to attack Iran with B2 Bombers with the Nobel "Peace" price in your back pocket? on a side note: Didn't Henry Kissinger-"I created the coup in Chile and killed Victor Jara & the democratically elected Allende", get the peace price too once? And to top it off: the only norwegian helicopter pilot in Afghanistan decided he didn'y want to serve another term, so now our troops cant leave their quarters because they cant get backup for wounded soldiers :) and Sweden and their labour party prime minister Olof Palme were also supporting the socialist Sandinistas in Nicaragua when he was assissnated in 1986.. the plot thickens.. ;)
