WATCH: Family Guy Episode Predicts The Boston Marathon Attack

The short clip from the Family Guy episode Turban Cowboy.

Season 11  Episode 16 | Aired on 03/17/2013

An episode of Family Guy, which was first aired less than a month ago, eerily predicted the Boston Marathon bombings, depicting the main character, Peter, detonating two bombs in addition to winning the marathon by killing the rest of the participants.  It is important to note that the video shows two clips from different points of the show edited together, but they are from the same episode.

The media is labeling this whole issue a "hoax" and Seth McFarlane is calling anyone who talks about it "abhorrent," when he's the guy who made a cartoon making light of killing Boston Marathon runners and detonating bombs.

Here's the MacFarlane story:

BOSTON (AP) — A 29-year-old restaurant manager has been identified as one of three people killed in the bombing at the Boston Marathon. Her father says Krystle Campbell, of Medford, Mass., had gone with her best friend to take a picture of the friend’s boyfriend crossing the finish line on Monday afternoon.

Whatever the claims are about the removal of this video are the very fact that such a story appeared on TV about the Boston Marathon is so coincidental that it is suspicious as to warrant further investigation as to it's origin and who wrote the episode and where they got the idea from, who they talked about the episode with and who approved it. It could be nothing. But I think the government should at least look.

The producer of the show is from Boston. The more likely scenario, if it is in any way related (which I highly doubt) is that the bomber(s) saw the episode and then hatched their idea. But again, I highly doubt it. The Boston Marathon is a huge national event, not unlike the Indy 500 and Kentucky Derby, and it is an obvious target for terrorism, without needing a Family Guy episode to inspire the idea.

Joseph Watson - It's painfully obvious Seth MacFarlane was referring to the edited clip circling the web being a hoax, not the episode itself. Guess you didn't see that.
