WATCH: Assassination Attempt On Bulgarian Leader - Caught On Tape

Ahmed Dogan Assassination Attempt

Chaos yesterday at a political conference in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The would-be assassin jumps on stage, aims his gun at the head of Bulgarian opposition leader Ahmed Dogan and pulls the trigger... but his weapon apparently misfires.  Then he is tackled by security guards and pummelled repeatedly by members of the audience who strike and kick him in the head until he is bloodied and subdued.
