Warren Buffett's Berkshire Still Hasn't Paid Back Taxes
Yes, Uncle Warren, savior of Bank of America, poster-grandpa of tax hikes on the rich, has been less than forthcoming with back taxes owed to the IRS.
Billionaire Warren Buffett says folks like him should have to pay more taxes -- but it turns out his firm, Berkshire Hathaway, hasn’t paid what it’s already owed for years.
That’s right: As Americans for Limited Government President Bill Wilson notes, the company openly admits that it owes back taxes since as long ago as 2002.
“We anticipate that we will resolve all adjustments proposed by the US Internal Revenue Service (“IRS”) for the 2002 through 2004 tax years ... within the next 12 months,” the firm’s annual report says.
It also cites outstanding tax issues for 2005 through 2009.
Obvious question: If Buffett really thinks he and his “mega-rich friends” should pay higher taxes, why doesn’t his firm fork over what it already owes under current rates?

Answer: it's typical Buffett 'faux-downhome' hokum, designed to gull rubes into thinking that he gives a flying rat's ass. And we find that as usual, the folksy pablum conceals a background of tax avoidance and chicanery.
Note - I am anti-tax, because I am anti-State... so I don't WANT the rich to be taxed; but I don't want vermin like Buffett bullshitting about 'responsibility' while overseeing an organisation that is doing precisely the opposite.
In the same way, I think every man has the right to be a homosexual without disclosing it - your sexuality is nobody's business - but if a closeted gay man chooses to be an anti-gay crusader, he should be outed [yes, Marcus Bachmann, we're all looking at you, you mincing, death-hag marrying freak].

Great comment overall. We were discussing Bachmann's husband just the other day. I agree completely. One of these weekends, I'll be posting clips of Mr. Bachmann exposing his hypocrisy. He's a homosexual who called other homosexuals barbarians who need to be educated.
