It really seems clear she really doesn't understand the MBS purchases by the Fed were
not at market value and now the "loss sharing," which no taxpayer ever voted on and
certainly would never voluntarily agree to, is glorified laundering.

(The banks actually can buy back low.)

How about trillions in free reserves while everyone else (including everyone who
SOLD their bubble assets, exactly the opposite of the self-important idiots at the
banks) is getting shix on their savings?

What about all commerce being an undesired Siamese twin to that marshalling of all
commerce to bailing the banks?

I think she thinks what she sees declared by the Fed / Treasury is + / - normal.

And then, I can reconcile that with the fact that Mark Haines genuinely liked her a lot.
