VIDEO - Clueless Corporate Apologist Meets Wall Street Protesters - #OccupyWallStreet

Source - Alexander Higgins

It's a little difficult to hear in some parts, but it's an entertaining clip nonetheless.  She keeps asking for the protesters to 'read the law and do something productive.'  Perhaps she should read a few economic blogs and learn about the fraud perpetuated by Wall Street, which we've been highlighting daily for 3 years.

We doubt she has any clue about the trillions in stealth bailouts for Dimon, Blankfein et al, coming from the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Treasury.

At 5:50 am in the morning a corporate elitist stopped by the protest at Liberty Park to let them know how pissed she was that traffic was blocked by the Brooklyn Bridge arrests, which stopped her from introducing her friend to a really good man.

It even surprises me sometimes John. I search for something from the past and find pages and pages of stories and videos that I barely remember, which usually leads to my re-posting of older stuff again on the front page. If anyone ever wondered why I repost so many older stories, there's the reason - the search function.

Thank you protesters, film makers, videographers, and Daily Bail. I appreciate all that you are doing!

I also appreciate that these guys were respectful to this lady and listened to her. Really love the one guy’s reaction when she told them to go “lobby”. Oh, the irony.

The more we let these CE’s spew drivel & exhibit their ignorance to the world, the more our case is made.

So, thank you too crazy CE lady.

The headline should read: "Drunk Manhattanite Vents Anger at Riff-Raff After All-Night Party: Tells Protesters 'Read Tax Law'"

That would have been a great headline...

Would she have told germans to read the law in nazi germany? If she is going to tell them to read something then read real political philosophy such as Rousseau's The Social Contract which laid the philosophy ground work for our very government system.

Protesting is us finding our legs and a means to fight back against the government. Yes it seems to have no effect but would you tell that to a toddler learning to walk? This is only our first stages of a push back. If this doesn't work then we will proceed to more effective measures. The more we are invested in changing this government for the better the less willing we will be to sit by passively. Also the less willing we will be to watch others be invested while we are not.

"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny." - Thomas Jefferson

Protests may not scare the government, but they let the government know that the government doesn't scare us.

Why the hell is everyone coming down on her for this? The main thing is she is trying to do is help them craft a coherent message. Is the fight really about this guy cannot compete against Chinese imports?? Heis advocating protectionist measures with tarriffs at one point.

I thought this is the fight against bailouts, and the unchecked control of wall St. No perp walks but bonuses. Endless spending on wars and no transparency in government. Sure she's not doing herself any good asking them to read the law but are they communicating any better? She's telling them to get some focus rather than aimlessly opposing everything.

If you think "we need to get back to capitalism" you're part of the problem. Capitalism creates the sort of system we have now, because you put capitalist bosses above everyone else and everyone has to serve them and make them richer in order to even have a drink of water. Eventually you end up with a few elites, and whole armies of people under them doing their bidding for a pay check.
