VIDEO - Alan Grayson Explains Occupy Wall Street And Shreds PJ O'Rourke
HBO Video - Alan Grayson on Occupy Wall Street - Oct. 7, 2011
Many readers have likely seen this clip already, but it's worth a second look.
Grayson:
“I was an economist for more than three years, so I think so. Now let me tell you about what they’re talking about. They’re complaining that Wall Street wrecked the economy three years ago and nobody’s held responsible for that. Not a single person’s been indicted or convicted for destroying twenty percent of our national net worth accumulated over two centuries. They’re upset about the fact that Wall Street has iron control over the economic policies of this country, and that one party is a wholly owned subsidiary of Wall Street, and the other party caters to them as well.”
“Listen, if I am spokesman for all the people who think that we should not have 24 million people in this country who can’t find a full time job, that we should not have 50 million people in this country who can’t see a doctor when they’re sick, that we shouldn’t have 47 million people in this country who need government help to feed themselves, and we shouldn’t have 15 million families who owe more on their mortgage than the value of their home, okay, I’ll be that spokesman.”

A total of 49 wild animals were gunned down by police with pistols and high-powered rifles after escaping from a private preserve in Zanesville, Ohio Tuesday. The animals were moving into nearby neighborhoods, forcing residents of the town of 25,000 to stay indoors.

Basically, you can't sell something on craigslist now without taking (1) identifying info and (2) apparently, having a way to process a credit card. Or a damn check (who uses those?) WHY DO WE KEEP ELECTING these kinds of idiots.
Hear say, mOOSHELL is still on the run out in the hills-n-hollers..?

That's the pool of money that Goldman Sachs got $20 billion from as an AIG counterparty. And here he is, sanctimoniously declaring his readiness to speak for a political movement that expresses anger over Wall Street greed. Good luck with that, Alan.
Yes, I am aware of Grayson's vote. He made a big mistake and it still haunts him. Thanks for pointing this out.
I tie my own flies and if you ever get to Maine waters, I recommend this on brooks and streams (some fast flowing rivers) about june 1st. If you have fished western waters, I wonder how this one would do.

As a rule of thumb I carry my gear with me and tie onsite just in case the situation is required. Bead head nymphs are something I use during the summer/fall months (cast upstream and you know the rest). I have a few 'secret weapons' but always tie variants of anything. It's amazing what a slight color variant will do (or sometimes doesn't).
I can't wait till spring!
