Trump's New York Victory Speech In Less Than 90 Seconds

TRUMP CELEBRATES VICTORY

Trump explains his entire platform without using insults. This is a substantial change, and it's the only way he can narrow the rather wide polling gap he has versus Hillary.

News Sites Start Charging Readers to Comment on Articles

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2016-04-20/news-sites-start-charging-readers-to-comment-on-articles

One big news company is already on board. Tribune Publishing, which owns the Chicago Tribune and the Los Angeles Times, turned on SolidOpinion’s software for the San Diego Union-Tribune’s website over the weekend. Readers can earn points, which can be used to buy more prominent placement for their comments at the end of news stories, by posting comments, visiting the site regularly, or spending real money. The newspaper sells 800 points for $10. The minimum price of a promoted spot is 15 points.

Why Don’t the Candidates Talk About Afghanistan?

http://antiwar.com/blog/2016/04/19/why-dont-the-candidates-talk-about-afghanistan/

Heading into its sixteenth year, with no endpoint in sight, America’s longest war is its least talked about. Afghanistan has not come up in any Republican or Democratic debate.

Here's more on the polling data. Reuters has been running a never-ending rolling poll of Trump vs. Clinton (head-to-head) for at least 6 months. I look at it every few days or so. Hillary has never trailed, though it's been close a few times. For most of the last 6 months she has been leading trump by 8-10 points.

Here is the unfiltered poll:

And here is the one filtered for 'likely voters'

http://polling.reuters.com/#poll/TM651Y15_13/filters/LIKELY:1

Neither one looks good for Trump.

DB, While I hate both R and D candidates, I think Clitoris is praying daily not to run against foul mouth insulter extraordinaire. She could not handle debate with him. I am sure she is afraid she will turn into scary bitch during such debate and loose all the votes. For me it's clear that Trumpet would win. It's scary proposition either way.

I agree on everything. She does NOT want to battle Trump in the gutter. It will be a nightmare for her. But at the same time, she is destroying him in the head-to-head polls. Most people hate her (57% or so). Even more people hate Trump (low 60s%).

ANYONE. BUT. HILLARY.

I don't believe the polls are reflecting the number of people leaving the democrat party to vote Trump.

OVER 100,000 DEMOCRAT VOTERS SWITCH PARTIES IN PENNSYLVANIA — To Vote Trump

The latest statistics this week from Pennsylvania’s elections bureau show more than 214,000 registered voters have switched this year. That amounts to 3 percent of the state’s 8.2 million registered voters. Carbon County is among the state’s hot spots.

20,000 Democrats switched parties before the Massachusetts primary in March. Trump won the state in a landslide with 45% of the vote.

I've seen those stories and that is Trump's only chance. He will need a huge turnout and have to hope that Hillary's bitter battle with Bernie will leave many DEMs unmotivated to vote for the woman they so despise.
