The $400 Billion Military Jet That Can't Fly On Cloudy Days

The $400 Billion Military Jet That Can't Fly in Cloudy Weather

100th F-35 Being Built, None Yet Operational

In January, the Lockheed Martin production facility in Fort Worth, Texas, reported it was well along "in the final phase of building the wings" of the 100th F-35 constructed by the Bethesda, Maryland, company.  Of the first 99 F-35s, none are yet operational.

The F-35 isn't even close to fully operational - it can fly only on sunny days.  It can't fly at night.  And it can't fly in clouds or near lightning.  We know this because the Pentagon tells us so, in a report written for the Secretary of Defense by the Director of Operational Test and Evaluation, J. Michael Gilmore.

Judge rules Stockton, Calif., to enter bankruptcy

http://www.businessweek.com/ap/2013-04-01/stockton-bankruptcy-decision-only-the-beginning

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — The people of Stockton will feel financial fallout for years after a federal judge ruled Monday to let the city become the most populous in the nation to enter bankruptcy. But the case is also being watched closely because it could answer the significant question of who gets paid first by financially strapped cities — retirement funds or creditors.

Maryland raises gas taxes to fund projects to add more pavement that will cause runoff into the bay. The Washington Post is very happy to tell me how glad I should be about the state of affairs on this subject, which of course I am.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/marylands-gas-tax-victory/2013/04/05/89f4b152-9e00-11e2-a941-a19bce7af755_story.html

And in a case of in your face my local reps decide they want to add even more pavement over an existing wetland and more runoff into the bay. Cost is a chump assed $50 mil. Fuck it, it’s pocket change for a dumbass such as myself.

This was intentional. It matters not why. Look at what the swine of America chooses for their leaders. Self righteous pigs, or self righteous pacifists.
