I feel for ya. I root for the Cubs every year. They have had some really great players over the years. Santo, Banks Williams, King Kong Kingman he of two hit years but forty of them were homers. Let's not forget Wilber Wood and perhaps the greatest of all time whose star shone brightly for such a short period, Dick Allen. Holy Shit I am old.

Dave Kingman...I think he hit 45 homers one year. Before steroids.

Wilbur Wood...I saw him pitch a White Sox game live in 1973 when I was 7 years old. I hadn't heard his name in 25 years until your comment. I watched the Cubs games via WGN cable when I was a kid.
