We're fighting people who hide in caves...we have no chance to eradicate them...wasted resources, wasted lives, wasted attention...

Did you guys like this clip?

I remember seeing clips of russian convoys getting hit the same way, BMP'S other armor and trucks getting blown to hell with RPG'S. They got their asses kicked clear up to their shoulder blades. I hope the lives of the American kids in that convoy those camel jockeys are shooting at aren't being wasted for nothing the way the lives of the russian kids were.

nice recollection, sagebrush...I'm afraid that they are dying in vain...I can't see us winning over there...other than the fact that the Taliban are disgusting, horrible people who don't believe girls should be educated, there is no other real purpose for the war...yes the Taliban are evil incarnate, but winning won't help us against al qaeda who have spread all over the world...

We could win, but it is not about winning, it is about the military industrial complex making money, and as they make money we incur debt.

I hope no one believes this could not have been won years ago if it was really about winning. We have the best trained and equipped military in the world.

And politicians tie their hands so their contributors can make more money, so they can contribute more money, so our pockets can get emptier and emptier...
