Sparring Over The Deficit: Obama Vs. Hensarling (VIDEO)

Video:  CNBC crew discusses the spat between Obama and Rep. Jeb Hensarling earlier this morning at the GOP retreat in Baltimore -- January 29, 2010

The actual footage of the exchange begins at the 1-minute mark.  Entertaining.

Video:  Complete exchange between Hensarling and Obama

This full clip is definitely worth watching; gives much more background than the above.  Obama calls Hensarling 'Jim' twice, once even after being corrected.

I can no longer listen to Obama when he's teleprompting ..er ...I mean, 'speaking'.

Could it be it's because of the way he has COMPLETELY LIED about EVERYTHING he SAID he was going to do when he was CAMPAIGNING vs NOW that Goldman Sachs successfully elected him presidente of our glorious republica?

Or maybe it's because of his tendency to wobble and flip-flop and then quickly reverse his postion on almost every major campaign promise he ever made?

Or could it be due to the way his speeches always seem to be just an endless parade of EMPTY promises all stringed together effectively in order to give the illusion that he's conceded SOMETHING of importance to almost EVERYBODY when we know all along he's going to shaft everyone EXCEPT his FINANCIAL lobbyist buddies in the end?

All I know is that everytime I see that motherfucker's lips moving: I just KNOW he's LYING.

Chaffetz tells Obama he's full of shit (in so many words). Obama proceeds to prove it. For instance, "I take responsibility for the fact that I'm a lyin' sack of shit on the issue of putting the health care debates on C-SPAN, like I promised"

By "I take responsibility," I mean, basically, not a goddam thing. Absolutely ZERO. NOTHING. ZIP. NADA. It's just empty words from the empty suit. Thanks for playing!

And what's with the dorky "cool" act from this president? Seriously, WTF? Will someone slap that stupid look off his face? How can you look like that when you're a complete and total failure?

How can you look like that when you nominate complete and total failures like Ben Bernanke? I'm with RecoverylessRecovery. These fuckers need some SERIOUS comeuppance. Like yesterday.

I'm just not sure that eight of us can lead a successful revolution.

drinking is good, though not the best response for stress.

“I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day.”

I've seen this exact response word for word a long time ago from "RecoverylessRecovery" (the first comment). Someone must be making a career of it.

This exchange was not scripted and he had no teleprompt, certainly not during the Q & A. Like him or not, conservative, liberal, whoever you are, you have to admit he's sharp as a tack!
