Song: Brother, Can You Spare Some F.R.A.U.D. - The Federal Reserve's Accounting Unit - The Dollar

Watch this.  Zappa would be proud.  Bernanke prints a trillion by day.

Yeah, I remember pennies that you wouldn't want to lose.
Yeah, I remember, quarters made of silver through and through.
When dollars had real gold on hand, to guarantee their worth,
yeah more than just some promise from the Federal Reserve...

They print a trillion in one day, but say we're not allowed to know,
exactly how it is they have distributed the dough!
Our Leader seems to favor an expansion of their game,
but people want to know what's going on in their good name...

CHORUS
Yeah, it's a F.R.A.U.D. nobody should applaud,
'cause honest money saw the firing squad.
I hate to prod, but give a nod, I know it sounds a little odd,
but tell me brother, can you spare a F.R.A.U.D.?

VERSE
For now I spend the garbage that the Fed insists is cash.
Am I too harsh? It seems they held more value in the past.
Most people are just starting now to wake up to the facts
of how the money-makers rip us off and let us crash...

So let's do something drastic, coins made outa plastic!
What's a nickel worth, anyway, with no nickel added?
Yeah let's make quarters blue, 'cause silver sure aint true.
Call me old fashioned, but they just dont seem to
make 'em like they used to...

CHORUS
Yeah, it's a F.R.A.U.D. nobody should applaud,
'cause honest money saw the firing squad.
I hate to prod, but give a nod, I know it sounds a little odd,
but tell me brother, can you spare a F.R.A.U.D.?

F.R.A.U.D. = The Federal Reserve's Accounting Unit: the Dollar.
